Federal immigration agents said Friday they arrested 16 Mexican nationals in the Milwaukee area with criminal records.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said all of the people arrested were living in the United States illegally and were taken into custody this week as part of an "enforcement surge" to find and deport aliens that had criminal violations in U.S.
Those arrested include a 50-year-old man who had twice been deported to Mexico, according to ICE officials. He had prior felony convictions for assault with a deadly weapon, battery of a police officer and grand theft of an automobile. He had previously been deported to Mexico in 1997 and 2003. He was arrested in Waukesha on Wednesday.
Two of the 16 persons have outstanding deportation orders, ICE said.//www.jsonline.com/story/news/crime/2017/01/27/agents-arrest-16-mexican-nationals/97148204/
I'm pretty sure that these arrests are the directions result of Trump being elected.
