March 23, 2010 A Day That Will Live Infamy

March 23, 2010 is a day that will live in infamy in the United States when President Obama signed into law, Obama Care. So what has happened since Obama Care was signed into care:

1. Insurance rates have skyrocketed. This is because there have been new mandates on private insurance including having grown adults being allowed onto their parent's insurance plan and no limits on insurance limits.

2. The law has been declared unconstitutional by several courts and constitutional by a couple of courts. The Obama administration, knowing that the law is probably unconstitutional, is delaying the inevitable by trying to delay the appeals.

3. The majority of Americans still don't like the bill.

4. The House of Representatives were taken over by the GOP in 2010 and the Senate will be in 2012, mainly because of Obama Care.

5. While there are a few good things in Obama Care, these items could have been dealt with in a smaller bill or have the items stand on their own merits. Both Obama, Reid and Pelosi decided to take over the health care system.

So, as much as Harry Reid and Obama stand by their bill, the American people don't and in 2012, President Obama will be effectively neutered either by Obama losing his re-election bid or by losing Congress or both. You reap what you sow.
