Well, guess what, it snows in Las Vegas and we woke up this morning, it was snowing out- not much and it melted but it was snow.
I'm down with a nasty cold and fever, so I feel for those who have had it and I wouldn't want wish it on my worst enemy.
Something new: they are doing something different. The show starts before the opening credits/scene. In the first episodes, they talked about cats and the seond about cookies beore they went to the opening scene/credits.
There are two new episodes tonight.
In the first episode, the first guy brought in an atlas from the Civil War era. Ok, I never heard of this but Rick has a book pillow. It was a family atlas of the world.
The guy wanted $1000. Time for an expert, Rebecca. Rebecca gave a story about the important parts of the atlas and said the title of the book said it was engraved but in reality, it wasn't engraved but still worth about $2500. The guy still wanted $1000 and that was the selling price, with no haggling.
The next guy brought in a 1930's pinball. It was a table top version- no legs. The version he brought in is in the picture. The guy wanted $5000. Chumlee told the guy about what was wrong but if you listen even a little bit, you can tell it was a voice over. The guy came down to $2500 and The Old Man offered $1000 and that was the sale price.
And in the next segment, you see the fired Olivia. The next lady brought in a Salvador Dali sculptured. It's hard to describe other to say that it looks like a guy breaking out of an egg with a Dali signature. They tried to call Rick because it was late but the lady said no, she needed the money. So, Chumlee took a chance and offered $400 and the lady went to $700 and it went for $600 and that was the sale price. Rick was mad and made Chumlee take it to an expert. So, they took it to Brett from Art Encounter. And Brett said it was not a Dali but worth of $500-1000. Chumlee then blamed Olivia.
The next guy brought in cow collar owned by Dwight D. Eisenhower.

It was a metal cow collar and given to him by the press core and it came with a letter. The guy wanted $3500 or 2 ounces of gold. Rick offered $1000 and the guy came down to $3250 and Rick stayed at $1000 but there was no sale.
In the second episode, the first lady brought in a hoover craft built for 1. It was built by Airboard.

It can go as fast as 25mph. Rick tried the hoovercraft wearing a nerdy kind of helmet. The lady wanted $15,000 and Rick offered $2000. They lady then went to $6000 and Rick stayed at $2000 and that was the sale price.
The next guy brought a Confederate Civil War Ribbon and a letter. It came from Stonewall Jackson.
http://www.biography.com/people/stonewall-jackson-9351451 The guy wanted $700. Time for an expert, Mark from the Clark County Museums, whose beard is really getting white/grey. The ribbon was a membership badge and the ribbon had nothing to do with Stonewall Jackson, it was just a name of a club. The guy still wanted $700 and Corey offered $100 and that was the selling price.
The story line is putting Chumlee on a diet to lose a few pounds. Corey said he lost over 100 pounds and so Chumlee decided to eat and get more healthy. Chumlee went to a nutritionist and she said he weighed 273 and a boy fat percentage is 42%. Chumlee said he had a healthful diet and exercise but in reality, he ate like a pig.
The next guy brought in a George Washington hair card. It had1 strand of George Washington's hair. The guy got it from Upper Deck and came in a baseball collection in 2008. The guy wanted $75,000. Rick offered $4000. The guy came down to $65,000 and there was no sale.
The next guy brought in a Storm trooper helmet, it was used by the company who cannot afford to pay for the local residents who The guy wanted $3100 and Corey offered $1000. and there was no sale.
In the final segment, the guys were eating donuts in front of Chumlee, mocking him.
