The cops in Las Vegas are on the lookout for a former California cop who has killed 3 people, including a cop.
From the New York Daily News: Southern California police were under siege Thursday by a crazed ex-cop who made good on his pledge to wage war on anyone with a badge — killing one of three officers he shot at in predawn ambushes.
Christopher Dorner, 33, who was fired from the Los Angeles Police Department in 2008 after falsely accusing a fellow officer of brutality, promised in a chilling manifesto to “bring unconventional and asymmetrical warfare to those in the LAPD uniform.”
As Dorner increasingly spun out of control and the frenzy level to catch him rose Thursday, Torrance, Calif., cops opened fire on a truck similar to Dorner’s, wounding two women delivering newspapers. LAPD Chief Charlie Beck said the shooting was a “case of mistaken identity.”
Dorner, a former Navy Reserve lieutenant with sniper skills, also made good on his vow to slaughter relatives of cops he believed wrecked his law enforcement career because he bucked “the thin blue line.”

And from the LVRJ:
The investigation spilled over into Las Vegas, where federal and local law enforcement, including a Las Vegas Fire Department bomb squad and the FBI, converged Thursday afternoon around a southwest valley home owned by Dorner.
Clark County property records show Christopher Jordan Dorner bought a home in Las Vegas at 724 Loughton St., off Blue Diamond and Fort Apache roads, in 2007. Has also lived in Cedar City, Utah.
About two dozen residents convened at one end of Loughton as they watched FBI agents and Las Vegas police work near Dorner's home. Unmarked cars lined the street, keeping people from getting too close to the investigation.
Law enforcement officers carrying rifles and wearing bullet-proof vests and helmets walked up and down the street.
A bomb squad truck, equipped with a robot, was on scene. The Las Vegas FBI served a federal search warrant at Dorner's home.
A neighborhood resident of three years, who asked that his name not be used, said the scene was surreal.
"It's crazy because I was watching the news earlier today and I saw they said he had Las Vegas ties," the man said. "But I never thought it would be this close."
Neighbors said federal officials arrived at the home about 3:30 p.m. Most stayed about an hour.

They had information about the thug's truck on signs that are on the Las Vegas freeways. I also know from someone in the know, that the cops are afraid he may end up on the Strip or Fremont Street and go out in a blaze of glory.
