Oh, That'll Show Him

And the failure of the Nevada Democrats in the Steven Brooks case continues.
From the LVRJ: The Nevada Assembly Democratic Caucus late Wednesday announced that Assemblyman Steven Brooks, D-North Las Vegas, is no longer a member.
Democrats control the Assembly with 27 member to 15 Republicans, so the loss of one member is not expected to change the dynamic of the house.
"At this time, the organization has determined it's in Mr. Brooks and the organization's best interest to part ways," the statement said. "The caucus encourages him to work on his health issues without the rigor of caucus business. This means nothing.  Brooks is still a Democrat, still in the Assembly, still has an office, still can walk the halls of the Assembly and still gets paid.
Brooks is still going to vote as a liberal and do whatever he damn well pleases and now he doesn't have a babysitter in the Democratic Party.
The Democrats had a chance to deal with this issue and they have totally screwed it up.  They just don't want to admit they are a bunch of weaklings who don't have a clue.
