Why Is This News?

The NY Post headline:  "I went to my first orgy"  http://nypost.com/2017/05/04/i-went-to-my-first-orgy-and-loved-it/
Yes, I am a prude but why is this news?  Why is some where so proud of this and decided to write about it?
And why would a major newspaper with a conservative bent think this news?
And no, I didn't read the whole article for researching the subject I am writing.
