I knew the numbers weren't big, but this surprised me how little dairy production there is in Nevada.
From the Las Vegas Sun: Lynn Hettrick, the deputy chief of staff for Gov. Jim Gibbons, is taking a new job.
Hettrick has been named executive director of the state Dairy Commission, which regulates the state's 20 dairy farms, two milk plants and three frozen dessert plants.

I know you won't find too many dairy farms in the desert and mountains, but 20 in the entire state? Wow.
