Last week, when it rained in Las Vegas, it also left Mount Charleston with a layer of snow on the tallest peaks.
There is a myth that the Las Vegas does not get snow. Last year, the highest peaks of Mount Charleston, about 45 minutes from the Strip, got about 10 feet of snow and the snow was on the tallest peaks well into July. We also have a ski resort in the Mount Charleston area.
So, let it snow, let it snow, let it snow, up in Mount Charleston. Meanwhile, it will be in the 70's the rest of the week.
