Today, at the New Hampshire primary, Mitt Romney came in 1st place. This shouldn't be a surprise since New Hampshire is a neighbor of Romney's home state of Massachusetts.
Ron Paul and his band of renown crazies came in 2nd place while some guy name Huntsman came in a distance 3rd place.
Huntsman coming in 3rd has to be a disappointment to himself, the Las Vegas Sun and the liberal press as they are the ones who propped up his presidential run. Now, with his bad showing, maybe Huntsman will see the light and drop out.
As far as Romney is concerned, he did all right, captured four delegates out of 7 delegates and nothing more.
Now comes South Carolina and Florida and then Nevada.
Surprisingly, even though I have one of the more popular individual blogs in Nevada, I have not been contacted by one presidential candidate or their campaign, either by e-mail or otherwise. Maybe Nevada is being used as a throw away state.
Perhaps we will also see a couple more candidates drop out, like Rick Perry and Newt (I Don't Care about Anybody But Me") Gingrich.
So,now about 400,000 GOP voters have voted out of about 30,000,000 Republicans or so, to put this whole election cycle in perspective. Romney has won about 10 delegates so far. The race is far from over and the GOP candidates will continue to rip on each other while the media cheers them on.
The game has just begun.
