An aide to U.S. Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. says the congressman is home in Washington after treatment for depression at Mayo Clinic.
Jackson aide Rick Bryant said Friday that Jackson is convalescing with his wife and children at his home.
Bryant says he's not sure exactly when the Illinois congressman was discharged. He says he hopes Jackson is back at work Monday.
Jackson went on a secretive medical leave in June, when family
members said he collapsed at home in Washington. He was being treated
for bipolar disorder at the clinic in Rochester, Minn.
His office said in August that he was being treated at Mayo because
of depression, after a transfer from the Sierra Tucson Treatment Center
in Arizona.
This guy represents the Chicago but doesn't live there. He doesn't get treatment there and when he goes home, he goes to Washington D.C.
This is another problem in Washington D.C.- we have too many politicians from both parties that live there full time.
Nevada's Crybaby Harry Reid is supposed to represent Nevada but lives full time at the Ritz Carlton in Washington D.C.. He has no clue what is going on in Nevada because he spends less time here in Nevada than many tourists. He only knows what his favorite people tell him or what he reads in the Las Vegas Sun. That's one reason why Reid is clueless.
Meanwhile, while Jackson is in Washington D.C. sitting on his bum, the teachers are about to strike on Monday and Chicago is in the middle of a shooting war. Yep, that's leadership but then he is a kin of Jesse Jackson, one of the biggest rip off artists of all time.
