Obama's Chicago: More Violence

From the Chicago Tribune: A 17-year-old boy was killed and his 18-year-old friend critically injured in a shooting late Saturday in the West Woodlawn neighborhood.
At least eight others were wounded in shootings across the city since about 5:45 p.m. Saturday.
The 17-year-old may have been targeted due to a feud between two rival gangs, one of which police say he belonged to. He and the 18-year-old were on their way to meet a girl when someone walked up and opened fire in the 6300 block of South Rhodes Avenue just before 9:30 p.m., according to police.
The younger teen died after being taken in "extremely critical" condition with a wound to the chest to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. The other teen, 18, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Responding paramedics found both of them in the street.
The boy was the fourth person killed since Friday night - the others were a 73-year-old man sitting on a stoop with a friend, a 34-year-old man getting ready to celebrate his brother's birthday, and a 20-year-old woman in a "domestic" incident.   http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/chi-2-shot-in-separate-south-side-shootings-20121013,0,5277041.story
I think Chicago is in need of another community organizer.  They probably won't have to pay him much, though but they will have to put up with a huge ego.
