We have had some strange weather in the Las Vegas Valley this summer.
The first few days of summer, we were very hot, almost record breaking hot, with highs in the middle 110's.
Since then, from the middle of July on, we have been cooler and wetter and a lot more humid. We have had some minor flooding in western part of the Valley but almost every part of the Valley has some heavy rainfall at one time or another.
Our humidity has rivaled that of the Midwest and our rainy weather has been closed to Florida with daily thunderstorms somewhere in Clark County or close to it.
Part of it is the monsoon season and we also get some tropical storms from Mexico. (it's bad enough we get your illegals from Mexico, now we get their damn humidity)
All I know, this has been the coolest and most humid summer in Las Vegas in the 8 summers I have been here.
