A group of black players on Missouri says it will stop participating in football activities until university system president Tim Wolfe resigns.
The announcement came via Twitter on Saturday night in a post by Missouri's Legion of Black Collegians. It comes after several recent racial incidents on Missouri's campus, and with Wolfe under fire for how he's handled them.
The tweet included a photograph of 32 black men, including starting running back Russell Hansbrough....
Racial tension has been brewing at Missouri's campus in Columbia since September, when Payton Head, the Missouri Students Association president and an African American, said he was racially abused while walking. Students protested when it took nearly a week for the university chancellor to address the incident.
Then in October, a student yelled the N-word at members of the Legion of Black Collegians in a campus plaza while they were rehearsing for a play. It Was Stupid In 2007 And It Remains Stupid Now
President Obama cares more about his legacy than he does about national security.

From Fox News: Gov. Jerry Brown last year directed state oil and gas regulators to research, map and report back on any mining and oil drilling potential and history at the Brown family's private land in Northern California.
After a phone call from the governor and follow-up requests from his aides, senior staffers in the state's oil and gas regulatory agency over at least two days produced a 51-page historical report and geological assessment, plus a personalized satellite-imaged geological and oil and gas drilling map for the area around Brown's family ranchland near the town of Williams....
Through the state's open records law, The Associated Press obtained the research that state regulators carried out for Brown, and the emails among senior oil and gas regulators scrambling to fulfill the governor's request.
Brown spokesman Evan Westrup declined to discuss the work for the governor, referring the AP to California's Division of Oil, Gas and Geothermal Resources. That agency said the work was a legal and proper use of public resources -- and no more than the general public would get. But oil industry experts said they could not recall a similar example of anyone getting that kind of state work done for private property....

NASCAR is losing fans both in the stands and on TV and no wonder why.

The student who stabbed four people on the campus of UC Merced was identified Thursday as 18-year-old Faisal Mohammad from Santa Clara, Calif., the university confirms to Fox News.
"He had a smile on his face, he was having fun," a construction worker who helped stop the attack told CBS 47.
Campus police shot and killed Mohammad, a freshman computer science & engineering major, after Wednesday's attack. Police detonated his backpack and are testing a substance inside, KGO reports.
The four victims are expected to survive.
Authorities are investigating a motive. They say Mohammad was armed with a hunting knife, and that its blade was 8 to 10 inches long.
"I really believe he's a hero here. I think he prevented this first student from dying," Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke said. So, Where are The Worst Places To Live?
According to this web site: https://wallethub.com/edu/best-worst-small-cities-to-live-in/16581/#methodology, the worst 24 small cities to live in are located in California.
Of the lowest 100 cities, 11 come from mostly Republican states while 89 come from mostly liberal democrat states.
Meanwhile the results were the exact opposite in the best cities to live in. While 11 of the cities come from mostly democrat states, 89 came from mostly Republican states.
Of course, you would know that, wouldn't you?
It's not rocket science.

Two cities in Mohave County were ranked- Kingman and Lake Havasu City.
Kingman is mostly a dump, the home of the trailer houses and meth heads.
Lake Havasu is the home of many, probably 3/4 of the city, the houses are over $150,000. with numerous million dollar houses. It also has a pretty good size lake and they have numerous events each weekend. Snowbirds flock there from all over the country and each weekend, the city is inundated with people from California-well, that may explain a low ranking. It has a lot of shopping, restaurants and more.
Kingman? Meth heads, a noisy railroad, abandoned property, more trailer homes, very little shopping and crappy schools.
But yet, Kingman is ranked 780 and Lake Havasu City is ranked 1117 out of 1268. To see how this survey is all screwed up, Kingman's education rating is significantly better than Lake Havasu City's school. having worked in both of the school districts, Lake Havasu is miles and miles better than Kingman and any other school district I have worked at.
By the way, Providence Rhode Island is ranked the best and Bell, California is ranked worst.

"Oh!" Shanna Cherry, cousin of Kenneth Wayne Cherry Jr., exclaimed before Judge Kathleen Delaney warned the audience there would be no more outbursts.
The jury deliberated about two hours after a two-day penalty hearing that Harris chose not to attend. The same jury took less than 20 minutes Oct. 26 to find Harris guilty of first-degree murder, attempted murder and weapon charges after a week of testimony in the February 2013 vehicle-to-vehicle shooting and fireball crash.
Prosecutor Pamela Weckerly cast him as so ego-driven that angry words with a man in the valet area at the Aria resort was enough to spark the murderous rampage that left cars spun-out, crashed and burning at the busiest intersection in Las Vegas.
Video recorded Harris' black Range Rover jockeying for position with a Maserati in a tire-squealing chase on neon-lit Las Vegas Boulevard, and the sound of gunshots from the SUV before the sports car accelerated through a red light and slammed into a taxi that ignited in flames in front of the Caesars Palace and Flamingo resorts.
Cherry was mortally wounded driving the Maserati. A passenger, Freddy Walters, was wounded. The Real Reason Matt Kenseth Got Suspended
So, Matt Kenseth got suspended for 2 Sprint car races.

NASCAR has suspended Sprint Cup driver Matt Kenseth for two races after he wrecked leader Joey Logano with 47 laps remaining during the Goody's 500 on Sunday at Martinsville Speedway.
The crash appeared to be in response to an incident from two weeks earlier, when Logano turned Kenseth for the win with five laps remaining at Kansas Speedway, a move that eventually kept Kenseth from advancing to the third round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.

Numerous people bet on Joey Logano to win the race in Martinsville and he got wrecked, making those who bet on Logano very upset.
Also, there is the Fantasy League, which people bet on sights like Fan Duel and those that had Logano's fans very upset.
That's the real reason and the reasons NASCAR are just pure B.S.
There have been worse crashes and fights and nothing like this suspension has been given to any driver.

The suspension of Meritus Health Partners means about 59,000 people will need new insurance unless the order is lifted. More than 50,000 of those people bought their plans through the marketplace....
The Department of Insurance suspended Meritus from selling or renewing policies on Friday because of concerns it could fail, according to orders issued Friday. Meritus disagrees and said it has enough money to continue operations at least through 2016.
The orders show the two Meritus groups, a PPO and an HMO, lost a combined $22 million from Jan. 1 through Sept. 31 and if the losses continued it would eventually become insolvent.
Meritus is spending about $2 million a month more than it currently takes in from premiums, chief operating officer Jim Walsh said in an interview Monday. But that loss was part of the startup nonprofit’s business plan as it gains business and the firm has $30 million on hand — enough to keep operating through 2016 if the company doesn’t see improving profitability as it expects.
The company cut staff in August to save $12 million a year and increased premiums for 2016 at the request of the Department of Insurance.
“This really is all about not if we have enough cash to get between now and the end of the year,” Walsh said. “It’s about are we going to make it in 2016 and would it be messy for them if we went out of business.”
Meritus was one of 23 co-ops set up as part of a compromise in the Affordable Care Act to compete with for-profit insurance companies. It has done very little to help people who did not have health insurance and it has screwed the rest of Americans with higher premiums, people losing coverage and 100,000's of part time and full time workers having their hours cut so that major employers did not have to provide health insurance.
And now 59,000 all of sudden will not have any health insurance and they have to go out and find it.
What a shameful legacy of Obama and the goose stepping democrats in Congress.

The bombastic billionaire took aim on Monday at a new foe, calling Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz a “terrible person” and a “highly neurotic woman.”
“You have this crazy Wasserman Schultz — Deborah Wasserman Schultz — who is in there, a highly neurotic woman,” Trump said of the Florida lawmaker in an interview on SiriusXM's “Breitbart News Daily.”

Located outside Washington, D.C., WCRW radio made no mention of China’s provocative island project. Instead, an analyst explained that tensions in the region were due to unnamed “external forces” trying “to insert themselves into this part of the world using false claims.”
Behind WCRW’s coverage is a fact that’s never broadcast: The Chinese government controls much of what airs on the station, which can be heard on Capitol Hill and at the White House.
WCRW is just one of a growing number of stations across the world through which Beijing is broadcasting China-friendly news and programming.
A Reuters investigation spanning four continents has identified at least 33 radio stations in 14 countries that are part of a global radio web structured in a way that obscures its majority shareholder: state-run China Radio International, or CRI....
China has a number of state-run media properties, such as the Xinhua news agency, that are well-known around the world. But American officials charged with monitoring foreign media ownership and propaganda said they were unaware of the Chinese-controlled radio operation inside the United States until contacted by Reuters. Dressed in a bejeweled fairy costume, the "Anaconda" artist is seen in the video waving a wand at a person in a motorized wheelchair while yelling, "I command you to walk."
The majority of the 15-second video focuses on Minaj, who laughs along with her friends as she waves the wand. At the last second, the camera pans down the hallway toward the seemingly disabled person — leaving many of her fans appalled.
"I just saw the video of Nicki Minaj making fun of a disabled person," Twitter user Lance Roberson said. "Truly disgusting and immoral."

Thompson’s family announced the news in a statement, which was published in The Tennessean.
“It is with a heavy heart and a deep sense of grief that we share the passing of our brother, husband, father, and grandfather who died peacefully in Nashville surrounded by his family,” the statement said.
It continued: "Fred once said that the experiences he had growing up in small-town Tennessee formed the prism through which he viewed the world and shaped the way he dealt with life. Fred stood on principle and common sense, and had a deep love for and connection with the people across Tennessee whom he had the privilege to serve in the United States Senate. He enjoyed a hearty laugh, a strong handshake, a good cigar, and a healthy dose of humility. Fred was the same man on the floor of the Senate, the movie studio, or the town square of Lawrenceburg, his home."...
The son of a car salesman, Thompson was born in Sheffield, Ala., and grew up in Lawrenceburg, Tenn., where he was a star athlete. He was 17 when he married Sarah Lindsey. The couple, who divorced in 1985, lived in public housing for a year as newlyweds.
Thompson graduated from Memphis State University in 1964 and earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1967. To pay for school, he worked at a bicycle plant, post office and motel.
Thompson went on to become a lawyer in Nashville. In 1969, he became an assistant U.S. attorney, then volunteered in 1972 to work on the re-election campaign of former Republican Sen. Howard Baker. A year later, Baker selected Thompson to be chief minority counsel on the committee investigating the Watergate scandal.
Afterward, Thompson returned to Tennessee and represented Marie Ragghianti, the head of the Tennessee Parole Board who was fired in 1977 after exposing a pardon-selling scheme. Ragghianti won reinstatement and her case was made into a 1985 movie titled "Marie," based on the 1983 book "Marie: A True Story," by Peter Maas. NASCAR Imitating Professional Wrestling
Vince McMahon of the WWE could not have scripted the NASCAR race in Martinsville today any better.
And boys and girls, this is our story.
2 weeks ago, our villain, Joey Logano, spins our hero, Matt Kenseth at the Kansas race, as Kenseth was leading with 5 laps to go, thereby ensuring that Kenseth does not qualify further in the Sprint Cup Chase championship.
Then, our villain does some naughty things to our hero and also crowd favorite, Dale Earnhardt at Talladega and tempers continue to flare but not to the point of revenge, but there is trash talking by the hero, Kenseth.
Now today, our villain is leading the race when our hero, Kenseth, is pretty much taken out by the villain's teammate, Bad Brad Keslowski and our hero is not pissed.
So, with a limping car, the hero returns to the race and the villain, Logano, who was leading the race at the time tries to pass the hero, Kenseth, when Kenseth takes out Logano in a hard crash and the tempers flare among their teammates. And the crowd goes wild
Both drivers are out and Kenseth is kindly asked not to return to the track and finish the race, even if he could.
And then Kenseth gives a total BS interview saying his tire was going on and there was nothing he could do to avoid the accident.
And the crowd goes wild.
The villain, then falls to 37th place, the crowd goes wild and he is booed by the fans.
Meanwhile, the huge crowd and sentimental favorite, Jeff Gordon takes the tag from Kenseth and he wins the race, even though he didn't have the best car today.
And the crowd goes wild.
And now, while NASCAR is feigning anger at the hero, they are down right pleased because everyone is talking about the race and will tune in to next week for the next chapter and see if the villain, Logano will comeback and win or will the hero, Kenseth takes him out again.

I Do Believe In Ghosts, I Do, I Do Believe Ghosts
I work at the local K-Mart her ein Kingman, AZ.
I've heard rumors of ghosts at the store and the ghost is supposed to be a young girl who died either at the store or got ill or hurt at the store and died at the local hospital.
Up until now, I really didn't believe in ghosts.
But the ghost sometimes appears in the corner of my eye while in the backroom storage area- I'm ont he main floor and I will see it on the 2nd floor.
After the store closes, I can hear some unusual sounds, mostly clothes rustling around.
And today, and I cannot even blame the full moon. I heard a younger person call out, "excuse me". This carried on for about 10 minutes and I probably heard "excuse me" 25-30 times.
So, either it was a ghost, or I am bat shit crazy and in need of some hospitalization.
I hope it is option #1 and not option #2.

Up until now, I really didn't believe in ghosts.
But the ghost sometimes appears in the corner of my eye while in the backroom storage area- I'm ont he main floor and I will see it on the 2nd floor.
After the store closes, I can hear some unusual sounds, mostly clothes rustling around.
And today, and I cannot even blame the full moon. I heard a younger person call out, "excuse me". This carried on for about 10 minutes and I probably heard "excuse me" 25-30 times.
So, either it was a ghost, or I am bat shit crazy and in need of some hospitalization.
I hope it is option #1 and not option #2.

A lot of people, especially conservatives, have been bashing CNBC and their buffoonery and prejudice in the GOP debate last week.

CNBC did the GOP and conservatives a great big favor.
CNBC showed that there is a liberal media bias and their "debate moderators" showed that they represent the liberal media.
They showed that NBC is part of the liberal media.
And better yet, the bias shown by CNBC brought together the major GOP candidates and they voiced together, how biased the media is.
And the GOP, especially Ted Cruz, showed that there is a huge difference between the questions asked of democrat candidates for president and the GOP candidates for president.
So, while the GOP complains about CNBC and it's liberal moderators, in reality, CNBC has helped the GOP immensely by bringing the GOP together to fight the common enemy: the liberal media. And thank you to CNBC for showing that there is a difference on how the conservatives and Hillary Clinton are treated.

Another Reason Why Rank And File Cops Are Being Screwed
You have to wonder why someone wants to become a police officer in the United states.
First, you have to deal with terrorist groups like Black Lives Matter.
Then, you have citizens filming you every step of the away and they only release partial tapes and don't release the part of the tape that exonerates the cops.
And then you have police chiefs, mostly in liberal cities who don't support their cops because it is not politically correct to do so.

Phoenix Police Chief Joe Yahner has agreed with an internal review board's recommendation to demote a sergeant in the 2014 killing of a mentally ill woman, the department announced Friday.
The decision comes three days after the department's Disciplinary Review Board recommended that Sgt. Percy Dupra, who fatally shot 50-year-old Michelle Cusseaux in August 2014, be demoted from his current rank. It also comes one month after the department's Use of Force Board determined the killing fell "outside of department policy."...
Cusseaux had mental illness that her mother said included bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and depression. She also had six felony convictions, a long history of drug abuse and had reportedly threatened mental-health workers.
In August 2014, police were called to serve a court order at Cusseaux's apartment complex in Maryvale to transport her to an inpatient mental-health-care facility.
Dupra, a 20-year veteran of the police department, told investigators he shot Cusseaux after she opened the door with a claw hammer raised above her head. I'm sorry but if you use a hammer in a threatening manner against the cops, you should be shot.
You acted in aggressive manner and you threaten he life of a cop.
Now, I have never been hit with a hammer, luckily, but I imagine, if you get hit by a metal hammer, it will hurt badly, if it doesn't kill you outright or cause serious damage to your health.
But did the chief support his officer. Hell no.
And this is just another reason why the rank and file cop on the street really don't want to get involved in many incidents and it is another reason why crime is rising, especially violent crime, in cities run by liberals.

Obama Shows Once Again He Hates Black
Once again, President Obama along with his liberal supporters are just a bunch of racists, just as bad as the KKK.

First, these prisoners are not they type that got busted for lighting up ajoint- most were convicted of selling or possessing a very hard narcotic, like heroin.
2nd, chances are that these are not first time offenders but have had multiple convictions.
And finally, most will be released in low income/ghetto areas and they will be free to terrorize the neighborhoods.
It will be interesting to see how many of these thugs will be returned to prison for violating parole.

Al Molinaro is one of my favorite character actors.
From NY Daily News: Al Molinaro, the actor best known for playing diner owner Big Al Delvecchio on “Happy Days,” died Friday, according to reports. He was 96 years old.
The cause of death was a complication from gallstones Molinaro had decided not to have surgically removed due to his age, Molinaro’s son told TMZ. Molinaro died in a California hospital.
The actor appeared from 1974 to 1984 on the classic ABC show about the Cunningham family and 1950s Milwaukee as the friendly but irritable chef-turned-owner of Arnold’s Drive-in. Delvecchio served up burgers and fries while starting off anecdotes with a trademark "Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep." He showed up in the same role in ‘82 and ‘83 on a spinoff, “Joanie Loves Chacchi.”
Before "Happy Days," Molinaro played Murray the Cop on "The Odd Couple." His character played poker withTony Randall’s Felix Unger and Jack Klugman’s Oscar Madison in 73 episodes between 1970 and 1975, according to IMDb.
Molinaro's credits include other period mainstays like "Laverne & Shirley," "The Love Boat," "Bewitched," and "Green Acres." Of course They Should
Disney is suppose to be a family friendly company but Donald Trump has called out Disney to rehire workers they have/will fire and bring in foreign workers.

I have personal experience about being replaced by a foreign worker.
I used to work for the Kingman Unified School District in Arizona. They recently hired numerous teachers from the Philippines to work in Kingman.
Including 1 teacher who took over my classroom when I wasn't sure if I was going to come back and they hired several more, even though there are many teachers willing to come to Kingman to teach.
So, Trump is right- unless it is proved beyond a shadow of the doubt that the foreign workers are needed, then foreign works cannot be brought in to take away jobs from Americans.

They also forced the GOP to retreat on the hard-fought 2011 budget agreement that had helped bring deficits back under control.
Conservative Republicans were irate at their leaders and at defense hawks within the GOP who forced the deal by saying it was worth busting the caps in order to get the Pentagon more money at a time when the U.S. is fighting the war on terror.

If You Are Offended By This, Too Damn Bad
From the Las Vegas Sun: The University of Louisville apologized to the school's entire Hispanic community Thursday after a photo surfaced showing President James Ramsey among a group of staffers at a Halloween party dressed in matching stereotypical Mexican costumes.
They wore bushy mustaches and sombreros, and rattled maracas as they posed for the photo.
Ramsey's chief of staff, Kathleen Smith, issued a statement expressing "deep regret" over the incident.
"We made a mistake and are very sorry," she wrote, adding that the university pledges to train staff and engage with the campus over diversity and racial equality issues. "This event shows we have much more to learn about our community." ...
A friend showed it to Freshman Leonardo Salinas.
"I was appalled," he said. "It's not just offensive to Mexicans; it's offensive to the immigrant community as a whole. Someone thought, 'Oh, this is a good idea.' How did it not click in anybody's mind that it was a very bad idea?"

A 5-month-old girl killed this month in Cleveland in a drive-by shooting. Seven people slain in Chicago, including a 7-year-old boy, over the July 4th weekend. A young female journalist in Washington, D.C., fatally struck by a bullet in May while waiting to change buses.
Violent crime has often been a local government concern and a problem that had been on the decline. But rising homicide totals in most of America's large cities have raising alarms within the Obama administration, with federal officials drawing urgent attention to the problem before Congress, at conferences and in speeches.
The Justice Department this month organized a brainstorming summit with mayors and police chiefs. FBI Director James Comey, testifying last week, said the "very disturbing" homicide spike has law enforcement scrambling to figure out why it's happening now, and why in so many cities that seemingly have little in common otherwise.
"It's happening all over the country, and it's happening all in the last 10 months," Comey told the House Judiciary Committee. "And so a lot of us in law enforcement are talking and trying to understand what is happening in this country. What explains the map? What explains the calendar? Obama Discriminates Against Women

Female soldiers serving at Guantanamo Bay are not being allowed to transport inmates following a court order issued in response to prisoners who complained on religious grounds, according to Republican senators who recently returned from a visit to the prison camp.
Inmates apparently complained the female soldiers' actions were an insult to their Islamic faith, but the senators blasted the court decision as an "insult to women." Top U.S. military leaders agreed the directive is "outrageous," while suggesting they're currently bound by the order....
A military judge issued the order in January prohibiting female guards from transporting the defendants, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, to and from legal proceedings after they refused to meet with defense lawyers and complained that any physical contact with unrelated women violated their Muslim beliefs.

Female soldiers serving at Guantanamo Bay are not being allowed to transport inmates following a court order issued in response to prisoners who complained on religious grounds, according to Republican senators who recently returned from a visit to the prison camp.
Inmates apparently complained the female soldiers' actions were an insult to their Islamic faith, but the senators blasted the court decision as an "insult to women." Top U.S. military leaders agreed the directive is "outrageous," while suggesting they're currently bound by the order....
A military judge issued the order in January prohibiting female guards from transporting the defendants, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, to and from legal proceedings after they refused to meet with defense lawyers and complained that any physical contact with unrelated women violated their Muslim beliefs.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, and 18 other committee members introduced the resolution to begin impeachment proceedings. In doing so, they followed through on a threat first made over the summer, when Republicans accused the IRS leader of making inaccurate statements to Congress regarding the Tea Party targeting scandal and its aftermath.
"Commissioner Koskinen violated the public trust," Chaffetz said in a statement Tuesday. "He failed to comply with a congressionally issued subpoena, documents were destroyed on his watch, and the public was consistently misled.
"Impeachment is the appropriate tool to restore public confidence in the IRS and to protect the institutional interests of Congress."
The IRS issued a statement later Thursday saying, "The IRS vigorously disputes the allegations in the resolution. We have fully cooperated with all of the investigations."

That is the populist fuel that is driving his campaign.”
And now the moronic part of the article, just below the smart part:

NASCAR Is Becoming To be Like Professional wrestling
NASCAR prides itself on being a legitimate sport. The drivers are considered athletes and the Chase is considered to be like the playoffs of other sports.
Except it really is closer to professional wrestling- where things that seem like reality are actually fake.
This week, NQASCAR was in Talladega, AL., on the 2.5 mile super speedway. It is a restrictor plate race, so the drivers race in packs, maybe 3 wide by about 10-15 rows.
This week, NASCAR officials decided that instead of 3 Green-White Checker (G-W-C) that are normally at every other track and at Talladega up until last Monday, NASCAR decided they would only have 1 G-W-C.
That's like saying baseball, in the middle of the season decided they will only have 1 extra inning in a tie game baseball game or in football, the teams would only have 1 opportunity to score in overtime.
What utter B.S.
So, what happens?
From ESPN: Kevin Harvick denied triggering a last-lap wreck Sunday at Talladega Superspeedway to ensure his advancing into the next round of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
After one restart was aborted because of a crash before the leaders got to the start-finish line, Harvick, in 10th, was in jeopardy of falling out of the Chase as his motor was about to blow prior to the one attempt to have a green-white-checkered finish.
Harvick's car didn't get going on the restart -- just as on the previous one -- and he pulled to the outside lane. He clipped Trevor Bayne, causing a wreck that brought out the caution. At that point, the field was frozen, drivers could not gain positions and Joey Logano was awarded the checkered flag for his third consecutive win.
"That's a crappy way for Harvick to have to get in the Chase; to wreck somebody -- what I believe to be on purpose [but] maybe it wasn't," Bayne said. If NASCAR had the usual G-W-C, then Harvick causing a crash would have been a non-issue as they would have had 2 more G-W-C.

But because this is NASCAR, they won't do anything and if they do, they will do it with a make believe rule.
NASCAR is in a steep decline with it's fans and this is just another reason why.

Four people were killed Saturday and 44 others injured when a car being driven by a suspected drunk driver crashed into a large crowd of spectators at the Oklahoma State University homecoming parade.
Police said the driver of the vehicle, Adacia Chambers, 25, of Stillwater, Okla., was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence.
Stillwater police Capt. Kyle Gibbs said at an afternoon press conference the woman's sedan struck the unoccupied motorcycle of an officer working security at the parade, then into the crowd of people. Interesting Concept

A task force assigned with coming up with proposals for banishing drug dealers from the Rocky Boy's Indian Reservation agreed to move forward on getting input and drafting an ordinance detailing how that will be done, at a meeting Thursday.
The Community Awareness Committee For Control of Drug Distribution is charged with formulating and submitting a proposal to be voted on by the Chippewa Cree Business Committee, the reservation's tribal council. State Rep. Bruce Meyers, R-Box Elder, who is on the committee, has said an initial vote on a proposal could be taken up by the council as early as next month.
Members of the committee said they will also seek advice from former tribal Chief Judge Strom Olson on drafting an ordinance, detailing who should be banished, and whether the penalties should be graduated.
The Committee was formed following a community meeting last week. Meyers said 70 people had shown up for that event, 90 percent of whom favored banishing drug dealers.
Banishment or the expulsion of undesirable elements from the reservation, either permanently or for periods of time, is something the tribal constitution allows, but the mechanism has not been used in recent years. The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe of South Dakota has passed a similar measure to bar drug pushers from its reservation and their program will serve as a template for crafting Rocky Boy's ordinance. In Browning, the Blackfeet reservation is weighing a similar policy.
Proponents say banning those convicted of serious drug offenses is necessary to address the problem of addiction that plagues the reservation, especially when it comes to methamphetamine. They blame desperate meth addicts, seeking money to subsidize their habit, for a series of burglaries, thefts and other crimes that have instilled fear in the community. So, can a city kick out drug dealers and other thugs from their boundaries?
Sounds like the wild, wild west.
And if ACLU hears about this, a lawsuit will happen.

And of course, the Indians are about the most liberal ethnic group in the United States. those who live on the reservation and outlying areas live under the Bernie Sanders rule of law- socialism/communism.
I can also see this being abused- Rocky Boy is one of the most corrupt Indian reservations in the country and it would not be impossible to think that one of the corrupt politicians would plant drugs on an opponent and then have them kicked off the reservation.
So, it's an interesting concept but it won't work out legally or ethically.

States opted to either develop their own state-based exchanges or hand authority to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). And between 2010 and 2014, CMS awarded federal grants mostly to states setting up their own marketplaces, to help them get started.
About $4.6 billion was given to these 17 recipients, including California, New York, Washington state and Kentucky.

The campaign is removing some senior staff from the payroll, parting ways with some consultants, and downsizing its Miami headquarters to save more than $1 million per month and cut payroll by 40 percent this week, according to Bush campaign officials who requested anonymity to speak about internal changes. Did Anybody Else Notice?
2 candidates for president dropped out of the democrat primaries, with a 3rd refusing to get in.
Most people knew that Crazy Joe Biden will not enter the race, unless Hillary gets indicted before the primaries.
But Jim Webb and Lincoln Chaffee also dropped out of the race.
Webb said that the democrat party left him and no doubt it has. It will be interesting to see if he will run for president as an independent.
But Lincoln Chaffee? Why did he run?

The Justice Department announced Friday afternoon that it will not bring criminal charges against Lois Lerner or any other IRS official involved in the targeting of Tea Party groups, in a decision Republicans ripped as a "free pass."
In a letter to leaders of the House Judiciary Committee, the department said the investigation into the controversy will be closed -- and while they found "mismanagement, poor judgment and institutional inertia," they found "no evidence that would support a criminal prosecution."
"What occurred is disquieting and may necessitate corrective action -- but it does not warrant criminal prosecution," Assistant Attorney General Peter J. Kadzik wrote.
Republicans, who themselves have investigated the IRS scandal for years, fumed over Friday's DOJ decision.
Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., said the move marks a "low point of accountability" for the Obama administration.

If this were George Bush- pick either one, Articles of Impeachment would be already drawn up by Democrats because they swear up and down that the GOP administration interfered with a criminal investigation.

But because the media and democrats are nothing but a bunch of brown shirt goose steppers for Obama, this is not surprising.
And if a GOP appointee tries to do the same thing, the media and democrats will cry just like a baby cries when they see my picture.
It will be interesting to see what the DOJ says about Hillary, especially if Biden is not running. Will the DOJ punt on the e-mail/national security broken laws?

Who Cares?
Crazy Joe Biden is not going to run for president of the United States.
Who cares?
Besides, he probably knew that the democrats will be in big trouble in 2016 and he had little chance of winning.
But it also shows that he has no backbone. Instead of fighting for what he believes in, he just throws in the towel before the first punch is thrown.

Upon Further Review, The Cubs Still Suck
The Chicago Cubs showed this past week that they are not ready for prime time, falling to the New York Mets in the National League Championship Series, 4 games to 0.
From ESPN: The New York Mets are headed to the World Series for the fifth time in franchise history.
Slumping Lucas Duda erupted with five RBIs -- matching the most in a postseason game in franchise history -- and the Amazin's completed a sweep of the Chicago Cubs with an 8-3 win in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series on Wednesday at Wrigley Field.
The pennant-clinching victory capped the first four-game postseason sweep in the franchise's 54-year history. The Mets became only the sixth team in major league history to never trail while sweeping a best-of-seven series, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
And how about this for history? Daniel Murphy's two-run homer in the eighth gave him a long ball in six straight games. That's a new postseason record. Murphy entered the night tied with Carlos Beltran, who homered in five straight postseason games with the Houston Astros in 2004. It appears, short of a earthquake in Washington D.C. in the next couple of days, Paul Ryan will be Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
I have mixed feelings.
First, he comes from Wisconsin, and with me being from Wisconsin, that should be a huge positive.
He is a very smart gentleman
And Ryan is a nice guy and can get along with everyone, including the dreaded Obama and democrats.
And now for his downside:

Ryan is not a true conservative or even a conservative wanna be. He is pretty much an establishment GOP House member.
He doesn't really want the job.

“It works,” said Border Patrol Agent Richard Withers. “This is the most secure area of the border. It is pretty hard for a guy to cross here. But they try.”
It wasn’t always this way. In 2005, Yuma was chaos. Pushed out of San Diego by Operation Gatekeeper in the late 1990s, drug and human smugglers targeted San Luis, a sleepy little border town just over the California state line south of Yuma.
That year, illegal immigrants overwhelmed Yuma. Border agents made on average 800 arrests a day, and watched hundreds of suspects run away. Stolen vehicles laden with drugs raced over the border at high speeds unhindered and unmolested. An estimated eight trucks a day sped out of Mexico onto Interstate 8 and disappeared into the American heartland, stuffed with immigrants or drugs.
“We essentially apprehend 92 percent of all entries through the Yuma sector,” said Porvaznik, as he steered a white and green Chevy Tahoe through the sand. “That is 126 miles of border, which includes 12 miles of these sand dunes. On a scale of 1 to 10 we are a 9.”
