Gas Prices Keep Rising. Will It Kill A Recovery?

Gas prices continue to rise and the cost for a gallon has passed the three dollar mark at several Las Vegas area gas stations.
Last year, at this time, gas was averaging $2.11 in Vegas and now it is $2.88, a difference of 77 cents a gallon. http://www.vegasgasprices.com/ the lowest price, without purchasing groceries or being a member of a shopping club is $2.77.
Liberals like Obama and Reid and Pelosi cheer the rise in gas prices. However, just about everyone else hate it.
There have been news reports that gas may hit $4 a gallon this summer. If you want to commit economic suicide, keep the gas prices high. Especially for Las Vegas that depends on people driving cars to come to Las Vegas.
But we know that Reid and Obama really don't care about the people in Las Vegas. They have given us the middle finger so many times that they are getting arthritis in the middle finger from flipping us off.
When gas prices rise, I don't spend as much money on other things. I may cut out a night out with the family, a small trip or some entertainment so I can fill the gas tank. I'm pretty sure most other people in the valley do the same thing. And the small business people who depend on low gas prices, well this will give them another reason not to hire more staff.
So, while Obama and Reid are happy with high gas prices, most people are not and it will cost the liberals in the elections in 2010.
