From Newsmax: "On the eve of Thursday’s first and only debate, Republican Senate candidate Sharron Angle has a narrow lead over Senate Majority leader Harry Reid in Nevada, according the latest poll from Rasmussen reports. The survey of likely voters shows Angle with 49 percent and Reid with 48 percent.Only 1 percent now say they remain undecided. In seven previous surveys, Angle has held the lead three times, Reid had led three times, and one poll was dead even."

When I was in high school , I ran cross country and track and this race reminds me of a long distance cross country or track race. Harry Reid sprints out in the beginning of the race with all of his and his supporters spending. Sharron Angle trips and falls but still hangs around in the race. Reid maintains a poll lead halfway in the race but then Angle starts her kick and starts to close. Now, in the closing part of the race, Angle puts it all together and catches Reid and passes him. Now, with only a quarter mile to go, Angle has a slim lead and Reid is gasping for breath. Can Angle kick it in and win the race or can Harry catch his second wind and make a final push and take down Angle at the finish line? Will Harry trip Angle at the finish line with a dirty trick? (oh wait, that has been his entire campaign)
Time will tell and we will find out on November 2nd.
