There is much fan fare of RINO Bill Raggio supporting Harry Reid, but it is not a surprise, nor is it news.
First, there is bad blood between Raggio and Angle, as Angle challenged Raggio for his Senate seat in 2008. Raggio is very bitter about this.
Then Raggio says this to the New York Times: “I would say there are a lot of Republicans who will find it difficult to support Sharron Angle,” said State Senator William J Raggio, a Republican who has served in the Legislature since 1972. “Abolishing the Department of Education, phasing out Social Security, those are pretty extreme positions. I think any incumbent is vulnerable, but you have to have somebody that is also acceptable if you’re going to win.” http://www.nytimes.com/2010/06/10/us/politics/10nevada.html?_r=1
From U.S. News: Among finances, other problems plaguing Angle’s campaign include a large number of registered Nevada Democrats, and splits in the Nevada Republican Party. According to Fox News, a biannual Nevada event featuring Sharron Angle revealed “conspicuous absences… including Rep. Dean Heller, state Senate Majority Leader Bill Raggio, and Lowden, a former state GOP chair who was long considered the favorite for the Senate nomination.”

From The Huffington Post: State Sen. William Raggio, who Angle tried but failed to unseat in 2008, recently said he will "find it very difficult to support" the Senate candidate and also wagered he's hardly the only member of the Nevada GOP who has concerns.
"I would say there are a lot of Republicans who will find it difficult to support Sharron Angle," Raggio said shortly after the Nevada primary. "Abolishing the Department of Education, phasing out Social Security, those are pretty extreme positions. I think any incumbent is vulnerable, but you have to have somebody that is also acceptable if you're going to win."

And from the Sun: After losing to me in a primary, during which she ran a very negative campaign and distorted my record, referred to me as a liar and a RINO, I never heard one word from her, or a concession, or an offer of support,” Raggio said. “Instead, she lent aid and comfort to an effort to recall me as State Senator.”

So, once again, Raggio, shows what a bitter RINO he is. He's a pathetic politician who is being termed limit out. Thank goodness for that.
