Stupid Bureaucrat News

From the Las Vegas Sun: Hundreds of would-be produce shoppers were turned away empty handed this morning as one of Las Vegas’ only farmers’ markets was shut down over Clark County zoning issues.
According to one of its coordinators, Molto Vegas Farmer’s Market was ordered by Clark County officials to temporarily shut down until concerns over business-license classification can be sorted out.
“We’re in a sticky situation,” said Doug Taylor, a coordinator of the market and the executive pastry chef for Mario Batali’s Las Vegas restaurants. “We’re not a grocery store. We’re more than a seasonal farmers market because we operate year-round. They are trying to figure out what exactly we are.”

This market has been open for 2 years and now a bureaucrat decides to take action. And instead of working with the market, they just decided to just shut the place down to find out what exactly the market is. Instead of keeping the place open and work with the owners, they gave the market the death penalty. What a stupid Clark County moron(s) who shut down the market.
And now you will have all these fresh vegetables- what will happen to the fruit and vegetables and fruits? Wasted? Given to food banks, costing the farmers money? Sold to grocery stores? If the food can't be sold at the market because of a possible danger, why would it be good for local grocery stores?
Clark County needs to lay off some workers because of a budget crisis. I can think of a moron or two who should lose their jobs because of their stupid adherence to bureaucracy instead of using common sense.
