The LVRJ is reporting that the Metro Cops were involved in another police shooting, this time, near Flamingo and Swenson, about 1 mile from the Strip, in a busy area of town.
This makes at least 3 police shootings in about 2 weerks and probably pushing 7 or 8 for the year so far.
What makes criminals so stupid when they face the cops that the cops have to shoot them.
The "victim" was taken to Sunrise Trauma, a couple miles away and their condition is unknown.
Update: The thug died. From the Las Vegas Sun: Authorities said a Metro Police officer fatally shot a man who fired at police Tuesday night near the UNLV campus.
Police spokesman Jacinto Rivera said the officer tried to pull a motorist over about 8:05 p.m. for reckless driving. The man wouldn't stop and the officer conducted a maneuver to disable the vehicle, police said.
The vehicle stopped near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Swenson Street, Rivera said. As the man exited the car, police say he shot at the officer, prompting the officer to return fire.

Again, it baffles the mind that the criminals who want to challenge the cops here in Vegas. So many have tried and most have donated their DNA to the ground.

ReplyDeleteOnes again another black unarmed American citizen is gun down by police! This time it’s in Trenton NJ. In every state in every city the same story is told. We (that “WE” means all 15 to 20 cops or more present) thought he was reaching for a gun. In this case the responding officer said the call came in. Assault in progress. But when they arrived to the seen Mr. Brown was walking away from the victim. Police said that a woman then approached Brown in an attempt to calm him down. He threw her to the ground, police said, and then raised his hand ( NOT A GUN) "as if he had a gun in a threatening manner," according to statement issued by acting Police Director Joseph Juniak. So they fire him up! Not one officer but three officers shot a unarmed man! They all thought he was reaching for a gun. They all felt threaten. They all fire more then one shot. Never seeing a gun from their first shot to their last! Now let me look into my Chrystal ball….The investigation will find all cops acting within the law…. The police will release Mr. Brown’s police record….If he has one! Or his driving records. Anything to say to the public Mr. Brown was a bad person (OR JUST ANOTHER N-----R) that deserve to be shot by three cops! There will be some protest MAYBE.! If Rev. Sharpton gets involve. It may be some marching. The cops love that because now the incident is no longer about police brutality. Or police shooting a unarmed human being Mr.Brown. They will now make it about the protestor and Rev. Sharpton! Then black Americans will wait for the next police shooting! Of another black unarmed child or adult! In general, I support cops when there is a shooting, but what the cops did to Trevon cole in las Vegas, was at best incompetence and at worst murder.
