More Lies Of Crybaby Reid And Shelly Berkley Exposed

When Obamacare was being passed, Crybaby Harry Reid and Shelly Berkley completely lied about ObamaCare and how it was funded. Now,with a Friday night dump, the Obama administration exposed the lie of ObamaCare- it wasn't self funded as Reid and Berkley said it would be.
From the AP: The Obama administration Friday pulled the plug on a major program in the president's signature health overhaul law - a long-term care insurance plan dogged from the beginning by doubts over its financial solvency.
Targeted by congressional Republicans for repeal, the program became the first casualty in the political and policy wars over the health care law. It had been expected to launch in 2013.
"This is a victory for the American taxpayer and future generations," said Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., spearheading opposition in the Senate. "The administration is finally admitting (the long-term care plan) is unsustainable and cannot be implemented."
Proponents, including many groups that fought to pass the health care law, have vowed a vigorous effort to rescue the program, insisting that Congress gave the administration broad authority to make changes. Long-term care includes not only nursing homes, but such services as home health aides for disabled people.
Long term care is costly and there needs to be some kind of help for the elderly, there is no doubt about that. However, forcing people to buy insurance, not finding a way to fund the insurance and with politicians like Reid and Berkley just lying about ObamaCare and not having a real debate about healthcare, you are going to have major problems.
Nancy Pelosi said that the Democrats had to pass the bill to see whats in it. Well, I guess they passed the bill and all we got were lies from the Democrats.

  1. Her name is actually Shelley Berkley, and I should know, because I had to replace a sign that was spelled incorrectly. As for the whole of "ObamaCare" as your side likes to call it, the aim was to provide for the taxpayer. Though the plan was flawed--and probably should have been a single-payer plan, it is better than anything YOUR side has put forward.

  2. Actually, the GOP has presented plans, like tort reform (see these outrageous awards against the drug maker in the Hepatitis C cases here)getting rid of red tape and mandatory coverages, allowing health insurace being sold across state lines etc.
