Stupid ESPN Football Announcers

Tonight the San Diego Chargers played the Kansas City Chiefs on ESPN. Phillip Rivers, quarterback of the Chargers fumbled late in the game, denying the Chargers a chance to win the game.
The announcers kept on saying that this was "Phillip Rivers worst day ever." "The very worst day ever in his life".
Seriously, a man playing quarterback on national TV, making millions of dollars while playing a kids game, fumbles the ball and this is his worst day ever?
Did ever have a grandparent or close relative pass away or get sick? Has he ever lost a dog? Has he ever had any of his 6 kids sick and he spent the night taking care of the child? Has his car ever died while he was driving it? Did he ever get hurt playing football? Did he ever get turned down for a date? Did he ever have a nasty hangover that lasted all day? Has he ever thrown up or had diarrhea all day?
Come on, all of the above would rank as being worse than fumbling a snap in a football game. So, to the announcers of ESPN, this was not Phillip Rivers worst day ever and I am sure when he picks up his paycheck for a couple hundred thousands of dollars this week, I am sure Rivers will get over it. This was not the worst day of River's life.
