From the RGJ: Gasoline reached record prices in Northern Nevada over the weekend
before pulling back in today’s overnight spot check, according to AAA
Nevada.
And in California, where Bay Area
refineries account for nearly all of Northern Nevada’s fuel supplies,
the average price hit a new record, prompting Sen. Dianne Feinstein,
D-Calif., to call on the Federal Trade Commission to investigate, saying
residents need to be protected from “malicious trading schemes.”
In
Reno, the average for a price of unleaded regular gas was $4.24 per
gallon early today, AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed. That was 2
cents below Sunday’s spot check which surpassed Reno’s previous record
of $4.22 set in June 2008. http://www.rgj.com/viewart/20121008/BIZ07/121008011/Record-high-gas-prices-Northern-Nevada-over-weekend-relief-sight?odyssey=tab|topnews|text|FRONTPAGE
Gas prices in Nevada rangs from $5 a gallon at Stateline (Primm) and $4.79 in Reno to $3.59 in Las Vegas.
Another reason why Romney will win: it's the economy, stupid.
