Justin Timberlake Golf Open 2012

Vijay Sing and Compnay
Today, my son and I went to the Summerlin TPC golf course in Las Vegas to watch the Justin Timberlake golf tournament.  The gournament, whihc benefits the Shriners Hospitals was held this weekend at the Summerlin TPC course.  Heck, we even got on the Golf Channel.
I have got to be honest, the golf I saw was less than disappointing.  We watched the back 9 and watched holes that were par 3 and 4.  We watched 5 groups on 3 different holes and we didn't see any birdies among the leaders but saw plenty of bogies and missed 3 and 4 foot putts.
We owe Justin Timberlake many thanks for sponsoring or putting his name on the tournament.  But next year, things will change as the Shriners will be the primary sponsor and also there will Fed Ex points awarded.
From the LVRJ regarding today's finale:
From the LVRJ:
Former UNLV star Ryan Moore played smart, low-risk golf, not wilting to the pressure, and he was rewarded with a one-stroke win over Brendon de Jonge in the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open at TPC Summerlin.
It was the second consecutive year a local won the Shriners Open. Las Vegas resident Kevin Na won last year with as then-record 261.
"It's been an unbelievable week," said Moore, who shot a final-round 66 to best Na's mark with a 24-under 260 total. "It's been really special."
Moore earned $810,000 for the win, the second of his career - so perhaps he and his wife Nichole might upgrade the furniture for their baby expected to arrive within the next month. He also moves into 25th place on the PGA Tour money list and will enjoy exempt status on the Tour through 2014.
Moore came into the week a confident player. He finished third at the Tour Championship three weeks ago and his game was coming around. He was making putts and had prepared well at TPC Summerlin, a course he knows as well as any he plays. http://www.lvrj.com/sports/former-rebel-moore-scores-pga-tour-win-in-shriners-tourney-at-tpc-summerlin-173049351.html
