They must have a sale on crack last week and the Las Vegas Sun editorial writers must have bought a bunch of extra crack and then began writing.
The editorial writers are wringing their hands about the debates and how Mitt Romney just plain out lied during the debate.
From the Sun: In the wake of the presidential debate last week and the various
attack ads that dominate the airwaves in Nevada, let’s take a second to
talk about issues. You know, the things that will matter when the
successful candidates take office.
Where they stand on the issues is important because it will determine what they will try to do in office.
However,
the issues, like the facts, have been brushed aside by too many
candidates and their campaigns. Consider Neil Newhouse, Mitt Romney’s
pollster, who last month dismissed the independent groups examining the
veracity of the campaigns by saying, “We’re not going let our campaign
be dictated by fact-checkers.”
Right. Why let the facts mess up a strong ad or a tough line of attack? http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2012/oct/07/forget-facts/
I'll concede that Romney misquoted some facts and stgretched the truth at times. That's politics.
But according the crack smoking editorial writers, President was as clean as the wind driven snow and told the complete truth and didn't stretch the truth one time. How do I know that? They didn't mention one mistake Obama made during the debate in their editorial.
Writing editorials and smoking crack is a dangerous combination.
