The hearing begins Thursday and could last several days. Prosecutors and Bergdahl's lawyers will make their cases for why he should or shouldn't face a court-martial, the military equivalent of a trial.
The hearing will be at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, where Bergdahl has been since returning to the U.S. last year.
Officials say the Taliban captured Bergdahl after he left his post. He was a prisoner for five years before being released in an exchange for five Taliban commanders at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. http://lasvegassun.com/news/2015/sep/17/sgt-bowe-bergdahl-to-face-hearing-for-desertion-ch/
I love the liberal spin. If the traitor is being tried for desertion, then how could he have been captured?
The traitor willing went to the Taliban and stayed with them for 5 years.
I'd say, doesn't Obama look foolish for all the things he did for the traitor, but then Obama has no shame.
Too bad they can't hang the traitor.
