From the Washington Post: President Obama said Friday that his administration did not ascribe motives to Russia's alleged meddling in the 2016 campaign ahead of Election Day because he did not want to be seen as influencing the outcome in favor of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, or risk exposing the nation's electoral system to greater attack.
Speaking at a year-end news conference, Obama said, “We did not — and the reason we did not was because in this hyper-partisan atmosphere, at a time when my primary concern was making sure that the integrity of the election process was not in any way damaged, at a time when anything that was said by me or anybody in the White House would immediately be seen through a partisan lens. I wanted to make sure that everybody understood we were playing this thing straight, that we weren't trying to advantage one side or another.”
“Imagine if we had done the opposite, it would become immediately just one more political scrum,” he added. “And part of the goal here was to make sure that we did not do the work of the leakers for them by raising more and more questions about the integrity of the election right before the election was taking place -- at a time, by the way, when the president-elect himself was raising questions about the integrity of the election.” ...
Clinton has cited the stolen emails, which were made public by WikiLeaks, as a factor in her upset loss to Trump, and her former campaign chairman John Podesta blasted the FBI for focusing more aggressively on investigating her use of a private email server than on Russia's involvement.

You mean, Mr. President, like when you went out campaigning for Hillary, talked about how bad Trump was and had your talking parrot, Josh Earnest saying outlandish things about Trump and praising Hillary? But that is to be expected and I have no problem this, but don't lie and say you didn't pick sides.
Missing from the article is that blamed the media for Hillary's loss, saying they focused too much on the e-mails. Seriously?
Umm, Mr. President, you need to be evaluated by a psychiatrist because the media, with the exception of Fox News, though several of Fox reporters were clearly for Hillary.
What the liberals don't believe or refuse to believe that Obama's policies hurt millions of people including myself.
Because of Obama, my hours on my part time jobs were cut, directly because of ObamaCare. Because of this, I lost money because I was limited to how much money and the number hours I could work. In addition, my insurance premiums skyrocketed and the amount of out of pocket expenses went from nearly nothing to thousands and thousands of dollars a year. And I know millions of people in the United States also suffered because of these restrictions.
And to blame the Russians for the hacks of John Podesta is too funny. If the Russians were involved, you would think they would have discovered some of Hillary's e-mails. They just had Podesta's and none of the e-mails were really that damaging.
No, almost all the voters rejected Obama and Hillary because Obama was a horrible president with a ton of scandals and Hillary was a horrible candidate with a ton of scandals.
And they got beat by Trump, who way smarter than both of them. Obama's and Hillary's IQ of the real word, is probably around an 8 because they constantly show that they are unaware of how the real world works and how people have suffered under Obama.
