Las Vegas Visitors Continue To Drop, Why?

According to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, visitors to Las Vegas dropped about 100,000 from August of last year to August of this year. This represents a drop of about 3.7%. http://www.lvrj.com/news/breaking_news/Las-Vegas-visitor-numbers-down-again-63866192.html
First the good news: Still, over 3 million visited Las Vegas in 1 month. That's over 100,000 people a day who visit and about 1% of the population of the U.S. visiting Vegas each month.
Now the bad news, the number of visitors continue to drop and the question is why is the number dropping. Right now, the cost of a vacation in Las Vegas. You can stay in a hotel, eat and get drunk for less than $50 a day, if you find the right deals. You can find entertainment for next to nothing, unless you want to go to an expensive show. Where in America can you get such a good deal. I am pretty sure, no where.
Flying into Vegas is also pretty cheap, depending where you live.
So, why aren't people coming to Vegas as in the past? Well, Obama had his famous "don't go to Vegas" speech and that has hurt. There is no disputing that. Even Democrats Harry Reid and Oscar Goodman admitted that.
The unemployment rate has a lot to do with that as well. A lot of people are losing their job under the Obama administration. Those who have not lost a job may be afraid they be next, so they are aren't going anywhere.
Some people just want to stay at home.
So, what can Vegas do to change things around? Lowering Prices won't help- they are pretty much at the lowest end you will find. Increase gambling winnings? Maybe, but that won't attract too many people. Advertise more? Well, we have a lot of reality shows on the air now, so we get a lot of publicity. Better customer service? That always helps but some companies have a lot of improving to do.
So, what will increase the number of visitors?
