Tonight, Fox TV, COPs will broadcast it's 800th episode. The show has been on the air for 23 years.
Times have changed in policing from the start of the show to now. New technology, new laws and new ways on how the cops interact with people. Some of it has been good, some of it has been bad.
Some or most of the police officers in the beginning have already retired and I'd be willing many of the criminals, especially those in the beginning are dead, in prison or on probation.
But it still is an entertaining show and I still watch it several times a week, especially the Las Vegas episodes. Even saw my old apartment featured in one segment. That's not good.
So, hopefully, there will be many more episodes of COPs to document history of policing in the U.S.

It all started in Broward County with Sheriff Nick Navarro and the men and women of the Broward County Sheriff's Office.
ReplyDeleteI too hope there will be many more episodes to come.
