Freeze Warning Up North

When people think of Nevada, they think of the desert and it is hot all the time. Well, it isn't and a large portion of Northern Nevada is under a freeze warning.
From the National Weather Service: HUMBOLDT COUNTY-NORTHERN ELKO COUNTY-SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH CENTRAL ELKO COUNTY-WHITE PINE COUNTY-NORTHERN LANDER COUNTY AND NORTHERN EUREKA COUNTY-SOUTHERN LANDER COUNTY AND SOUTHERN EUREKA COUNTY-INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...WINNEMUCCA...OWYHEE...ELKO...SPRING CREEK...WELLS...CARLIN...CLOVER VALLEY...PEQUOP SUMMIT...ELY...MCGILL...CONNORS PASS...GREAT BASIN NATIONAL PARK...BATTLE MOUNTAIN...EMIGRANT PASS...AUSTIN...AUSTIN SUMMIT...EUREKA...DIAMOND VALLEY...PINTO SUMMIT209 AM PDT SUN SEP 5 2010...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 8 AM PDT MONDAY...THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ELKO HAS ISSUED A FREEZEWARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 8 AM PDT MONDAY. THEFREEZE WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.* TEMPERATURES: TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM 28 TO 32 DEGREES ACROSS MUCH OF THE AREA WITH SOME OF THE COLDER VALLEY LOCATIONS DROPPING INTO THE MID 20S.* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: OWYHEE...WINNEMUCCA...ELKO...SPRING CREEK...WELLS...CARLIN...CLOVER VALLEY...ELY... MCGILL... AUSTIN... EUREKA...DIAMOND VALLEY...BATTLE MOUNTAIN.
