I was traveling down Boulder Highway by Hwy 95 and saw the Library Girls Strip club. Now, I have always noticed and I say noticed, the strip club, but tonight I saw for the time who the club shared walls with in the strip mall (pardon the pun)
Well, it's the Shiloh Baptist Church.
That could make for some interesting church services/lap dances if they ever operate at the same time.

ReplyDeleteThere is a megachurch in Madison that is going to start holding some services at Club Majestic downtown, in order to reach the student population.

Club Majestic is the former Majestic Theater, where the Rocky Horror Picture Show used to play on Saturday nights. As a club, it has also hosted burlesque shows (not like a modern strip club; more like what you would see at the Burlesque Hall of Fame downtown).
Further east, Assumption Greek Orthodox church is in close proximity to Red Letter News, Madison's infamous adult book store with video booths. Parishioners returning to their cars are occasionally confronted with lewd behavior in the parking lot.
Maybe the Shiloh Baptist Church will start ministering to the strippers (it would be a good way to fill the donation plate).
