Watch Out October 6-Anarchists And Liberals Want To Invade The Strip

Well, looks like some Las Vegas liberals, anarchists, idiots, fools and maybe even the United Way will look to invade the Las Vegas Strip on October 6th.
From Occupy Las Vegas: Several general meetings have been held and attempts were made to involve everyone, whether successful or not. In solidarity with New York's Occupy Wall Street, a cheer was let out during the Oct. 1 planning meeting as everyone arrived at the first group concencus. Meet in front of the Statue of Liberty in front of New York New York at 3pm, and march at 4pm on Thursday Oct.6.

No further final decisions have been made on what part of town will be the site of Occupy Las Vegas long term, but several people have expressed interested in keeping with national schedules such as the huge movement in DC who's invite reads 'bring your sleeping bag'. While many ideas have splintered in the group about the logistics, no one can disagree on the fact that as the 99% majority in the
nation, there has been a lot of suffering because of a greed the 1% on Wall Street and the level of anger and resolution to solve this motivates people past any communication problems.

One thing that's different for protesters and organizers today is the convenience of the internet, social media, and texting. Using everything in their power, Las Vegas will show that the workers here have had enough of the inequality. As one poster stated "The have 99 problems when we become one".

I am sure they will be protesting President Obama since Obama's 2008 campaign was largely financed with Wall street money, his cabinet and many other appointees are from Wall Street, that the Democrats are part of the problem with Bank of America and their fees. Yeah, right.
And they want to occupy part of Las Vegas. I have a suggestion and my suggestion would be maybe MLK and Bonanza. That is in the inner city and they need all the help they can get in that area. Few, if any banks, grocery stores and high crime. Perfect place for a bunch of community activists.
But if these community activists decide to violate the law, Las Vegas Metro doesn't put with much crap, especially on the Strip. They won't coddle law breakers who block traffic or casino property. It will be a trip to the county jail, CCDC.
So, if you are on the Strip on October, beware of the comedy show involving some of Las Vegas's strangest and dirtiest people.
