Do Occupy (Name Your City) Have The Support Of The 99%?

From Hot Air: By a 39 – 30 percent margin, American voters have an unfavorable opinion of the Occupy Wall Street movement, with 30 percent who don’t know enough about it for an opinion.
The Tea Party movement gets a slightly more negative 45 – 31 percent unfavorable rating, with 24 percent who don’t know enough about it for an opinion.

And the people that the Occupy groups want to help the most? From the Washington Examiner: Occupy Wall Street is being sold as a protest on behalf of the working class and against the rich and powerful, but a new Quinnipiac poll finds that the movement is least popular among lower income Americans.
Those polled with lower incomes were also the least aware of the movement.
Overall, according to the survey, Americans have an unfavorable view of the movement by a 39 percent to 30 percent margin. But in a result that would seem counterintuitive, the lowest income group polled -- those making under $30,000 -- had the least favorable view of the movement, at 26 percent, while those making over $100,000 gave the highest favorability rating to the movement, at 36 percent.

Part of this has to do with the fact that awareness of the movement increases with income (and higher income groups also expressed a higher unfavorable sentiment), but that doesn't fully explain things. For instance, the highest net negative rating of Occupy Wall Street comes among middle income Americans earning between $30,000 and $50,000. This group had a 41 percent unfavorable view compared with just a 28 percent favorable opinion.
Also, with the media trying to portray this as a populist movement, it's worth noting than two-thirds of those earning under $30,000 either haven't heard of the movement or have an unfavorable view of it.

Clearly, the poor either don't care much about the Occupy movement or they find the Occupiers distasteful, like most Americans.
The Occupy movement does have legitimate points- the bailouts of banks and the auto industry, the unethical way the banks have foreclosed on some homes, the greed of some of the bankers and people who received money from the stimulus. Most people would agree there is a problem with the government and the greed of some people.
But the Occupy thugs have decided that instead of behaving in a civilized manner, they are going to trash cities, hurt police officers, associate themselves with anarchists and other disgusting behavior like drugs, sex and living in filth.
They also have decided to team up with unions. While the rank and file members work hard, they send their dues money to the union leadership, so the union leaders can live their lavish lifestyles. How come the Occupy groups don't go after union leaders and their high salaries, great benefits and lavish life styles. Since they complain about bankers making good money, why don't they go after union leaders as well? Has there been a protest against Jimmy Hoffa Jr or Richard Trumka?
And in Las Vegas, Occupy Las Vegas is connected at the heart with the Democratic Party. Crybaby Harry Reid is one of the most corrupt politicians in the U.S. history and easily the most corrupt politician in Nevada history. Not only did Reid sponsored and voted for the bills the Occupiers hate, Reid has also personally killed thousands upon thousands of jobs in Nevada. From Yucca Mountain, to car dealerships, to power plants and other companies, Reid has killed jobs. Unless you breathe the mantra of global warming, Reid doesn't care about you. And Reid has put all his eggs in the green jobs economy at the expense of traditional jobs in coal, mining and gas and oil and that has been an an epic policy failure. Why doesn't Occupy Las Vegas hold him responsible? Because Occupy Las Vegas is an extremely liberal organization that sucks up to the Democratic Party and their politicians, so they don't hold his responsible.
So, while the Occupy Las Vegas claims they represent 99% of the people, they cannot even get the support of the group, the poor, who need the help the most.
Just another reason to say: Occupy Las Vegas: epic failure.
