From the Las Vegas Sun
Metro Police said one person died after being shot inside a bar on Flamingo Road east of UNLV this morning.
Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said police were called at 5:23 a.m. to The Garage, 1487 E. Flamingo Road.
It appears someone entered the bar and began shooting, Meltzer said. Arriving officers found the victim inside with gunshot wounds, she said.
Homicide detectives are investigating. No other information was immediately available.
The mechanic-themed establishment touts itself as “Las Vegas’ newest gay bar,” open 24 hours a day with nightly drink specials, according to The Garage’s
Facebook page.

Who cares if it is a gay bar or not? Is the Sun advertising for the bar? When someone is murdered in a regular bar, the Sun doesn't say the murder happened at a straight bar.
So, why would the Sun say the Garage is a gay bar? To warn straights not to go in? Just plain stupidity on behalf the Las Vegas Sun.
