Comparisons Of 2 Newly Hired government Attorneys

Yesterday, the City of Henderson and the Clark County School district hired their lead attorney.
Here is the qualification of the CCSD Attorney: The Clark County School District unanimously appointed attorney Carlos McDade on Tuesday to be the district’s general counsel.
McDade, who has more than 25 years of experience as an attorney, will be paid an annual salary of $138,650. His two-year contract begins Dec. 1 and runs through June, 30, 2013.
According to his
biography on his law firm website, McDade is a retired Air Force colonel and judge advocate who joined the Las Vegas law firm Black and LoBello, specializing in property, small business, environmental law and commercial litigation. The Yale University graduate received law degrees from the University of Colorado Law School and The George Washington University Law School. http://www.lasvegassun.com/news/2011/nov/29/school-district-approves-138650year-general-counse/

Josh Reid was hired by the City of Henderson. His qualifications? He is a private sector environmental lawyer. And according to Pops Reid, he has had good schooling. From the Sun: Members of the council cited Josh Reid’s experience in the private sector and a desire to bring in someone from outside of the city attorney’s office as reasons he stood out among the other candidates.

If anyone seriously thinks the Henderson hiring was upright and honest, then they need to be examined in a psychiatric facility.
The City of Henderson mayor, Andy Hafen and the city council yesterday showed they are as corrupt as a Chicago politician. And to my council member, Debra March, you are a very corrupt politician and you didn't even have the guts to show your face at the meeting. She called in her vote by telephone. Just pathetic, Debra March.
So, CCSD can go out and find an extremely qualified attorney at a lower salary than Henderson who hired the little boy of Crybaby Harry Reid.
What a contrast between a fairly good government agency and a corrupt political agency.
