He used to to be my favorite talk show host when I lived in Wisconsin but now, I sense that Mark Belling is being racist when he says that Herman Cain is not smart enough to be president, and he has said this several times.
I'm not sure, but does he say that about the other GOP candidates?
But Hermann Cain not being smart enough to be president? Please. Compared to who? He certainly is smarter than Obama, who needs a teleprompter to to talk and when he doesn't, he makes some huge mistakes. And Obama's handling of the economy, Mid East, allies and other problems the U.S. faces certainly make Obama look very smart.
He certainly smarter than most people because Cain has run businesses and has brought back businesses that were in serious trouble.
He is certainly smarter than Rick Perry and Mitt Romney. Perry because of his stances on immigration and parental rights. Romney because of Romney Care.
Is Cain the smartest person in the United States. But not smart enough? Hardly.
So, why is Belling who, by the way, fills in for Rush Limbaugh from time to time, saying this? I really don't know. Does he favor another candidate more? That's fine, but that's not a reason to say someone is not smart enough to be president.
I'm not the type to call someone a racist for the hell of it, like many liberals do. But in this case, unless there is a specific reason why Belling believes Cain is not smart enough to be president, I have to think race comes into play.
How disappointing because I liked listening to Belling on 1130 WISN radio out of Milwaukee via the Internet.

Belling favors Perry and has for some time now.
ReplyDeleteI think he puts Cain into the same category as Obama; while educated, neither man has policy or government experience.
