Las Vegas Sun Coward, Brian Greenspun is at it again, with his cowardly editorial, praising and humping Senile/Coward/Liar, Harry Reid and Hillary "Big Bucks" Clinton.
When the editorial was posted at 2:00am, Sunday morning, the editorial accepted comments from readers and when I next looked, around Noon, the comment section was taken down.  I guess Coward Greenspun just could not handle the criticism and Greenspun's lies he was called out on.

The editorial started off well and he gave kudos to Gov. Brian Sandoval but also found ways to criticize the deal because it benefits Northern Nevada and makes Southern Nevada pays for the tax cuts.  This maybe the only legitimate part of the editorial.
The editorial continues:  But there is someone else who hasn’t sought, nor will he, any limelight when it comes to sharing this great news. That man is Nevada’s senior U.S. senator, Harry Reid.
This is a flat out lie.

So, either Greenspun is lying to the few readers he has, doesn't read his competition, mad that he scooped by the LVRJ or has poor reading comprehension.
While everyone else was appropriately basking in the glow of the good news during Thursday’s news conference in Carson City, Reid was presiding over the seventh annual Clean Energy Summit in Las Vegas. His guest of honor, among many honored guests, was former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who gave the keynote address. I would not be doing my job as editor if I didn’t report how “presidential” she sounded!
So, how did Hillary sound "presidential"?  If she lied, take down her enemies, attack other Americans, call people names, be a racist, sound weak, cut down America, then she sounds presidential, like President Obama.
So, when the Senate majority leader weighs in on behalf of Nevada and its jobs, it makes sense that people listen. It is obvious that Musk listened. And Nevadans will be better for it.
By the way, the fellow who saved those many thousands of Nevada’s gaming jobs by pushing through tax legislation when the recession hit? Yep, it was the majority leader. Saving thousands of Nevada jobs and helping to create many thousands more ... it is good to have the majority leader on Nevada’s team.
He is the gift to Nevada that keeps on giving.
Well, Greenspun is correct about 1 thing.  Reid gives us conservative bloggers plenty of material and with his racist quotes, his ever diminishing mental capacity and his comical quotes that he means to be serious, he keeps us busy.
But Reid does little for Nevada.  We get little federal money compared to other states, he has taken away rights and land from Nevadans, he has given us bad bills, raised the cost of living and has put 10's of thousands of Nevadans out of work because of his wishes, like Yucca Mountain and other projects.
It would nice if Greenspun would allow comments to his editorial but Greenspun is such a coward, he can't stand criticism.  Just another reason why Greenspun is a member of the Las Vegas Badger Hall of Shame.

If One Is A Racist Comment, Then The Other Should Be As Well

From ESPN: Seattle Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon said Sunday he's concerned about the lack of African-American players and managers in baseball.
In the last few weeks, two African-American managers left the game in Houston's Bo Porter, who was fired, and on Friday, Texas' Ron Washington resigned, leaving McClendon as the only black man as a manager.
"It's concerning," McClendon said. "Not just from a managerial standpoint but from a player standpoint, in what's happening with baseball in the inner cities. I think from all the conversations I've had, I know Major League Baseball is committed to bringing [it] back to the inner cities. I think from a philosophical standpoint we're missing some ideas that need to be in there."

Atlanta Hawks owner Bruce Levenson is selling his controlling interest in the team, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced Sunday.
In July, Levenson self-reported an email he wrote to the team's co-owners and general manager Danny Ferry in August 2012 that he called "inappropriate and offensive." The league commenced an independent investigation after being made aware of the comments....
In the email sent in August 2012, Levenson shared his observations of the fan experience at Hawks games. He said he concluded "southern whites'' were uncomfortable at games.
"My theory is that the black crowd scared away the whites and there are simply not enough affluent black fans to build a significant season ticket base,'' Levenson said in the email released Sunday by the Hawks.
"Please don't get me wrong. There was nothing threatening going on in the arena back then. I never felt uncomfortable, but I think southern whites simply were not comfortable being in an arena or at a bar where they were in the minority.''
Levenson said Hawks crowds are 70 percent black, the team's cheerleaders are black and hip-hop music was played.
"Then I start looking around at other arenas,'' Levenson said. "It is completely different.''
Levenson said he often heard fans say the area around Philips Arena in downtown Atlanta is dangerous.
"This was just racist garbage,'' Levenson said. "When I hear some people saying the arena is in the wrong place I think it is code for there are too many blacks at the games.''
Though he said he disagreed with the conclusion, he said he told team executives to add white cheerleaders and music "familiar to a 40-year-old white guy.''

So, the Black manager thinks there should be more Blacks in baseball and he is considered to be thoughtful.
The Atlanta Hawk owner thinks that there should be more Whites at the Hawks games and he is considered a racist.

They Need To Catch The A-Hole Cowards....If It Wasn't A Hoax

From the Cleveland Plain-Dealer: Police Chief Mark Spaetzel says he and his department are outraged by a report that some Bay High students dumped urine and feces on a special-needs student, telling him it was part of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.
"To me, it's reprehensible ... that these kids would take advantage of a vulnerable teenager," said Spaetzel, who called a video of the incident one of the most disturbing things he's seen during his law enforcement career. 
The chief said the family of the victim, who has autism, reported the incident to Bay police on Wednesday. The family reported that the bucket dumped on the teen contained urine, feces and spit. Spaetzel said police are reviewing a copy of the video, which the attackers recorded on the 14-year-old's phone and then posted to social media.
He said police aren't sure yet when or where the incident occurred. Officers also are trying to determine how many teens were involved. He said they are all believed to be Bay High students.
Spaetzel said his department is committed to making a thorough investigation and moving as quickly as possible to bring charges against anyone found to be involved.
The Bay Village school district also is prepared to discipline any student who was part of the incident, which took place off-campus and outside the school day. Superintendent Clint Keener said in a statement that school officials will take appropriate disciplinary action once police complete their investigation. In the message posted Thursday morning on the district's website, Keener said, "Our entire Bay Village Schools community is heartsick over the cruel actions taken against one of our special needs students.... The student and family targeted by this act have our utmost sympathy, and we will work to let this student know that we care very much about his well being."

Drew Carey has offered at $10,000 for the arrest of these cowards.
The only comfort I have is that whoever did this is sweating like a pig, knowing they are going to be captured soon and then being publically humiliated.
However, something bothers me.
If the child is so vulnerable that he doesn't know when or where the attack took place, then where were the parents of the victim?
I work with Autistic kids as a special education teacher and other positions and worked with Autistic individuals for 30 years and I am making these observations:
If the kid didn't know where he was, didn't know what time the attack took place and didn't know who he was with, then he is severely autistic and not capable of taking care of himself independently and he shouldn't be roaming the streets without proper supervision of the kid's family or friends.
Obviously, the family didn't know where he was or who he was with and that put the kid in serious danger, not only this time but other times as well.
This rises to the point of where Child Protective Services should be called to investigate.
Further, how did the family not know when the attack took place?  The kid was soaked with urine and poo.  Wouldn't that cause a huge stink, even if he was washed off?  Even if he completely washed up afterward and there was no smell, the family should have noticed the kid looked different from the time he left to the time he came back.
Finally, how did the kid know what an ALS Bucket Challenge is?  If he didn't know where he was, who he was with or when the attack occured, how is he going to understand the complexities of the ALS Bucket Challenge?
Could the attack be a hoax?  I don't know but it sure is a possibility.
Stranger things have happened.

If the child is unable to communicate when or where the attack took place, how was he able to communicate that the students involved were from Bay Village High school?

Fire In Kingman

My blogging was interrupted tonight when we had a large smell of smoke in our house.  After determining our house was not on fire, we went outside to see a large orange glow in the sky, just to our south of our house.
It turns out that an occupied trailer home was on fire.  We went to the scene and arrived a couple of minutes after the first fire truck arrived.  We saw older man laying on the ground but was awake and talking.
What bothered me the most was that it took the Northern Arizona Consolidated Fire Dept. a long time to put water on the fire, at least 5-10 minutes, which for a paid, full time fire department is pretty pathetic.  It probably would not have made a difference in saving this structure but who knows what would happen if it really mattered or if someone's life was on the line.

If You want To Make A Lot Of Money, Be A Special Master

From the Las Vegas Sun: Nevada's public hospital wants a federal judge to throw out the work of a court-appointed special master who recommends severe monetary sanctions after concluding that documents weren't produced as required in an employee wage and hours lawsuit.
Attorneys for University Medical Center claim in documents filed this week that Special Master Daniel Garrie was biased and that he reached "erroneous conclusions without any depth of legal analysis."...
Garrie defended his work.
"I believe I did my job and my duties, and the record speaks for itself," he said. "Ones and zeroes speak for themselves."...
Garrie didn't attach a dollar figure to his recommendation for monetary sanctions. An actual sanction amount would be set by a judge.

When I hear the term "Special Master" in this case at least, I think Garrie is the plantation owner and the taxpayers of Clark County are the his slaves.

It's Going To Rain A Lot In The Next Few Days Or...

From the LVRJ: A rare three-day flash flood watch has been issued for Southern Nevada starting Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The flash flood watch will be in effect from 10 a.m. Sunday to 5 a.m.Tuesday, affecting Clark County, southern Nye County, the Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon.
The forecast calls for thunderstorms after 11 a.m Sunday, with temperatures as high as 96 degrees and a light south breeze up to 10 mph.
The thunderstorms are coming from Hurricane Norbert, which damaged more than 1,000 homes and forced hundreds of people to seek higher ground off the coast of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. The hurricane weakened to a Category 1 storm Saturday night.
There’s a 60 percent chance for rain Sunday night, increasing to a 70 percent chance of heavy rain by Monday. Monday’s highs will stay in the low 90s with a light breeze, dropping to a low of 80 degrees by nightfall, the weather service said.

The weather forecasters in Las Vegas are about the worst in the nation.  So many times, they have predicted rain and didn't get any.

So, in the next few days, it may be ark building season.

It will be a beautiful sunny day.
My guess: For most people, it will be a bit cloudy with little or no rain.

Bad Things Happen 3, Including Democrats Running For President

The American people were minding their own business when suddenly three of the most frightening figures in American politics, shameless hacks who couldn’t park a bicycle straight, suddenly began babbling about running for president in 2016.
And they’re all from Massachusetts. But where else would they be from? I said they were incompetent.
First it was John Kerry on Wednesday in D.C. with several other former secretaries of state, saying, in what passes for a jocular tone, “I’m sort of thinking 2016, OK?”
No, it’s not OK. Put your kiteboarding bloomers back on, ride your pink girly bike down to the beach and tell us all again how you were for bombing Assad before you were against bombing Assad.
Then came Deval Patrick, on TV with a couple of his cheerleaders from Ch. 5, saying of a presidential run, “There are a lot of people who have asked me to think about it.”
Name one, Governor. At least he didn’t say he was being “urged” to run.
Finally, the fake Indian stepped into it with Katie Couric, who was taking a day off from her strange obsession about Diane Sawyer’s sex life.
In that sing-songy, lecturing, schoolmarmish tone of hers, Talking Bull started lashing into Hillary Clinton. The more she talked, the better Hillary appeared. Or at least less bad.
All across the fruited plain, Americans must have been thinking, “How can we miss Massachusetts when it won’t go away?”
Barney Frank, Ted Kennedy, Gerry Studds — how can one midsized state inflict so much damage on the body politic? But what does Deval care? “Only” 60 or so people died because of the staggeringly lax state oversight of the pharmacy on his watch. And he has so much else to be proud of — Annie Dookhan, the DCF, Carl Stewart McGee, Evergreen Solar, Ron Bell, the broken promise of property tax reduction, the 25 percent hike in the sales tax, $1.8 billion in welfare for illegal aliens …
Deval, Kerry and Granny. Think of them as the modern Three Stooges — Larry, Curley and Geronimoe.
The only thing that surprises me about yesterday is that Mike Dukakis didn’t announce he’s running for president too. But he was too busy looking for a space to park his tank at the next Mike Lake rally. 
I do hope Kerry does run for president along with Joe Biden.  That will make things interesting, at least as comedy in the presidential race goes.

That Wonderful ObamaCare

DEAR HARRY: My employer has 55 employees. Back in January, there were only 48, which excluded us from coverage for insurance under the Affordable Care Act. In order to stay out of coverage, they have decided to cut back on our hours. Many of us now work 28 hours a week to keep us from being "full-timers." That leaves the company with fewer than 50 full-timers and no requirement that they participate. However, each of us has private coverage, some with subsidies. Is this the way it was supposed to work? Isn't it a violation of the law for our employer to do this?
WHAT HARRY SAYS: I don't know if Congress saw this loophole, but it is a game that any employer who is near the 50 full-time floor can play.

Um, Harry, it's not a game.  It is life and these employers have decided that the law is not good for them.  They may have provided insurance before, but because of the ObamaCare mandates, the cost of providing the insurance, the penalties, the fact that the IRS now runs healthcare in this country are all reasons why employers have cut hours, laid off people, closed or stopped providing health insurance for it's employees is another way of showing that ObamaCare is just another failed liberal policy.

Gay Pregnant Teacher Should Have Been Fired From Catholic School

From the Detroit Free Press: The firing of a former chemistry teacher at a Catholic, all-girls school in Bloomfield Hills for what she believes was her “nontraditional” pregnancy has sparked outrage across the nation, spurring an outpouring of support and a social media and letter-writing campaign.
The teacher, 33-year-old Barbara Webb, said she’s touched by the support and is deciding her next course of action after losing her job at Marian High School.
“Some people have asked, ‘What are you going to do next?’ ” Webb said. “I have to see what’s feasible. If it means pursuing something with Marian or doing some work outside of the school dealing with that issue, I’m just looking at the options. It broke my heart. Marian was a family to me for almost a decade. That we’re on the cusp for change, that’s exactly what I was hopeful for when I told people what happened to me.”
Webb worked at Marian High for nine years, also coaching volleyball and softball and serving as student-government moderator.

Sorry, but if you are gay, unmarried and are pregnant, you should not be working at a Catholic school.
The Church is very clear on their opposition to gay marriage and getting married out of wedlock and this lady wants the Church to change so that it suits her values, and that is wrong.
If you are gay and get pregnant, work at a public school, a Lutheran school where they are more tolerant of gays and out of wedlock pregnancies or at a school that accepts your values.
The Catholic Church should not change their values just because someone disagrees with them and is more than arrogant for this former teacher to expect the Church should change their values for her.
Actually, she sounds like a spoiled rotten child who hasn't grown up.

“It’s peaceful,” said Jex Blackmore, 32, local leader and part of the temple’s executive ministry. “The idea of sacrifice specifically is to appease some demon or some god, and that’s a supernatural belief that we don’t subscribe to.”

They Should Prosecute Illinois Governor

From the Chicago Sun Times: Gov. Pat Quinn has signed legislation allowing Pete’s Fresh Market to continue selling beer, wine and spirits at its new West Side store, though a church next door to the grocery had objected to liquor sales there and urged him to veto the measure.
Quinn spokeswoman Katie Hickey said Quinn decided it’s “in the community’s best interest to sign the bill.”
Pete’s — which has made tens of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions to Ald. Edward M. Burke (14th), a top Quinn supporter — started selling liquor at its store at 2333 W. Madison in June under a “contingent” license granted by Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s administration. The license required Pete’s to get an exemption from an Illinois law that bans liquor sales within 100 feet of churches or schools — or lose its city liquor license.

Burke’s brother, state Rep. Daniel Burke, D-Chicago, helped push that exemption through the Legislature, the Chicago Sun-Times reported in July.

That prompted members of the Greater Bethlehem Healing Temple church to urge Quinn to use his veto power to stop liquor sales at the West Side Pete’s.
“This facility will be within 75 feet of our church,” Greater Bethlehem Bishop Chester Hudson wrote to Quinn. “We have received calls from local politicians and lobbyists on their behalf. Our response has been the same: NO.”
Quinn signed the bill exempting Pete’s and several other establishments from the 100-foot law on Aug. 26.
Hickey said Quinn aides “met with church officials and had spoken with representatives from the Fresh Market to hear their concerns. Conversations were amicable, and both sides understood the economic opportunity for the community.”
Attempts to reach Hudson and Pete’s owner James Dremonas were unsuccessful.
Since September 2012, Pete’s and another Dremonas company have contributed a total of $56,750 to campaign committees controlled by Ald. So, Gov. Rick Perry is charged with a crime and faces life in prison in Texas because he a vetoed a bill because a drunk and lush Democrat District Attorney refused to resign after she was arrested for DUI and abused the cops and generally made an ass of herself.  They said he abused his power.
In Illinois, the governor allows a grocery store to sell booze to the local booze hounds after a key legislator receives thousands of dollars in campaign contributions and right after the governor signed the bill, the store gave $1500 to the legislator as a thank you gift.
So, if things were equal, the Illinois governor and alderman should be brought up on charges for receiving cash gifts and the governor then signs a bill that gives the store a liquor.
But of course, Illinois is run by Democrats. so they will only go after Republicans.  Democrats, for good or bad, just don't eat their young, no matter how corrupt they are as opposed to Republicans who will throw some of their more corrupt members under the bus.

Tell Us What You really Think, Tom

From WND: President Obama’s left-leaning political ideology combined with sympathies for Islam acquired from being raised by a Muslim stepfather paralyze him as he faces the threat posed by the Islamic jihadist group ISIS, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay told WND in an interview.
In defending America against radical Islamic terrorism, Barack Obama cannot be trusted,” DeLay said.
“Barack Obama was raised a Muslim, and he claims he is a Christian, and I can’t say for sure whether he’s a Christian or not, but he has shown over the last few years that he has great sympathies with Islam,” DeLay explained.
“You combine that with Obama’s political orientation that is far to the left,” he continued, “and you get a president who hates war, hates the military, and you have a formula for military inaction when it comes to combating radical Islamic terrorists like we are seeing in ISIS.”
DeLay’s indictment of Obama did not end there.
“You add to mix that Barack Obama is incompetent, way over his head as president, and the whole combination produces a worldview that makes Obama detached and reluctant to take the type of the military action against ISIS that would be effective,” he said
DeLay concluded Obama “does not want to face the reality of the danger and threat represented to the United States by ISIS, and he does not want to admit the connections between al-Qaida and ISIS, because he refuses to understand that we are in a war against radical Islamic terrorism.”

Obama has been a complete failure as a president.  Further, his liberal policies have shown to most people with a mind that liberalism, while it sounds good and may have good intentions, is a failure when they try to put those liberal policies into practice.
If anybody should be mad at Obama, is should be liberals because he has destroyed they myth that liberalism works when they try to implement it.
Name 1 liberal policy implemented by Obama that has been a success.

Maybe She Does Have A Brain Besides T&A?

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has criticized President Barack Obama for insulting her husband, rapper Kanye West, saying the president should not comment on pop culture.
West was furious after Obama branded him a “jacka—” for interrupting Taylor Swift’s speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, and the hip-hop star was slighted again last year when the president accused the couple of encouraging youngsters to become obsessed with wealth and fame.
Kardashian has now urged Obama to keep his thoughts on popular culture to himself, telling Britain’s GQ magazine, “I don’t think it’s very appropriate for the president of the United States to be commenting on pop culture. … I mean, calling people ‘jacka—’? … I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion – even him. I was just like, ‘Why is he even commenting on this?’”

Don't Bring A BB Gun To A Cop Fight

Jose Walter Garza, 30, never spoke when police spent five minutes at a Laredo truck stop ordering him to drop the replica pistol, but eventually “raised the weapon in the direction of a police officer,” Investigator Joe Baeza, the Laredo, Texas, police spokesman told the Daily News.
The revelations Friday came nearly a week after officers killed Garza around 1:45 a.m. Saturday at the Gateway Truck Stop. It’s still unclear how many times Garza was shot, but five of the six officers were armed with AR-15 rifles, Baeza said.
An earlier report from Garza’s grandmother that the man “had no face” after being shot was unfounded, Baeza said. Family members originally believed a total of 80 shots had been fired.
Less than 90 seconds into the speeded-up video, two officers appear to give each other a congratulatory “fist bump.” Baeza said internal affairs is investigating that aspect of the shooting, and its aftermath, as well.
The family has been in to speak with police and a small group of protesters has appeared on city street corners with signs condemning “killer cops.”
“We’ve extended whatever courtesies we’ve been legally able to in terms of their questions,” Baeza said of the family.

A group of six cowards brutally assaulted a couple outside a Springfield, Mo., nightclub after one of the men allegedly sexually assaulted the woman.
Cops have released terrifying surveillance footage from outside the Outland Ballroom of the Aug. 22 beatdown that sent Meredith Cole and boyfriend Alex Vessey to the hospital.
“It was pretty brutal,” Cole told KYTV.
Vessey was inside working as a DJ that night when Cole went outside by herself and was approached by the goons, who started to touch her as she tried to fend them off.
“It was embarrassing, kind of, and weird and uncomfortable, it was really intimidating too,” Cole told the news station of the sexual assault. "It was scary, I guess is what I'm trying to say.”...
Video shows one brute run up and sucker punch Vessey in the head as they wrangle the couple towards a wall in an alley. The rest of the gang joins in, indiscriminately throwing punches, including at least one that struck Cole in the face.

From the Chicago Tribune: The day after a Chicago woman was struck on the head and killed almost instantly by a piece of falling stone, contractors began working Friday to make repairs to the historic South Loop church where the incident occurred.
Dark metal scaffolding was placed around Second Presbyterian Church on Friday morning, and construction workers appeared to be carefully inspecting the exterior of the building to make sure the brick wall and stone decorations were secure.
The scaffolding and wooden cover provided a protective walkway around the Gothic revival structure at 1936 S. Michigan Ave. Sarah Bean, 34, was walking to lunch with her fiance Thursday afternoon when a piece of decorative metal came loose. The metal piece fell and knocked off a chunk of stone from a gargoyle that juts from a corner of the church's southeast tower, city officials said.
The stone hit Bean on the head and killed her almost instantly. For black Americans, age 16 and older, seasonally adjusted, the unemployment rate between July and August stayed the same at 11.4%, and that is up from the 10.7% rate in June.  The last time the black unemployment rate was 11.4% was more than 5 years ago, in October 2008. Michael Sam Got NFL's Help To Get On Practice Squad

According to NBC’s Peter King and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith, NFL officials called teams around the league to gauge interest in signing Michael Sam to their  practice squad.
Yesterday, the Dallas Cowboys signed Sam, who is trying to become the first openly gay player in NFL history.
King reported this during the pre-game show on NBC prior to the Seahawks/Packers season opener Thursday night.
“The Rams waived Michael Sam, the first openly gay player trying to make an NFL roster, he was unemployed for two days,” King said. “During that time a league official contacted multiple teams asking if they had evaluated Sam as a probable practice squad player.”
“Now Sam and the NFL avoided a nightmare situation when he signed with the practice squad of the Dallas Cowboys.”
This report, that is surely to upset other players vying for NFL practice squads around the league, was initially reported by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith on yesterday’s edition of “First Take.”
“According to sources I have in the NFL, the league did call a few teams. They did want teams to take Michael Sam because obviously we see what kind of movement they’re gearing for, and what they’re support of Michael Sam, who we all know, came out, acknowledged he was gay before the draft and ultimately something Roger Goodell and the NFL supports and they want their teams to support. But other teams weren’t too receptive to taking him on once the St. Louis Rams cut him,” reported the ESPN talking head.

If this report is true, then Michael Sam is not the first gay player in the NFL but instead the first gay player who wasn't a NFL caliber player who needed help to get on a practice squad.
Right now, I have lost a lot of respect for Sam and the NFL and it makes me wonder if the NFL will do the same for other players, like Asians, Native Americans etc.
Because Sam is on the practice squad, he is still not a full fledged NFL player, and apparently, needed help to even get this far.
If the story is true and if Sam had any morals, he would quit the Cowboys because he doesn't deserve to be on their team.
And of course, this is another reason why the Cowboys pretty much suck under Jerry Jones.

Questions About Girl's death

Sadly, they found the body of a 9 year old girl from Bull Head and as I predicted, it was an acquaintance of the family who did the killing.
From the LVRJ: Shortly before 8-year-old Isabella Grogan-Cannella was reported missing Tuesday, she was playing hide-and-seek with the family friend now charged in her disappearance and death.
Bullhead City police booked Justin James Rector, 26, into the Kingman jail early Thursday morning on first-degree murder and kidnapping charges, according to Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Trish Carter. An extensive search for the girl culminated Wednesday in the discovery of a body less than a mile from her home. The Mohave County coroner confirmed Thursday that the body was Isabella....
Rector had been staying with Isabella’s family for a few days, Williamson said. Isabella, who was called “Bella,” was put to bed late Monday night and discovered missing from her home about 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Isabella’s 10-year-old sister told police that she, Isabella and Rector were playing hide-and-seek late Monday night while the mother, Tania Grogan, was at Wal-Mart.
The sister went into a bedroom to find that Bella and Rector were no longer there, called Grogan and alerted an adult who was upstairs at the home. Grogan returned home and, after an unsuccessful search, called police at 1:18 a.m.
More than 100 personnel, assisted by police dogs and a helicopter, searched for the girl, who had apparently vanished without a trace. A break in the investigation came late Wednesday afternoon when police announced the discovery of a body. Shoe prints at the scene were a match for Rector, Williamson said.

It has been reported by different media sources that this thug texted the family saying he had the little girl and asked them what they were going to do about it.
If this is true, why wasn't there an Amber report sent out, throughout northern Arizona and southern Nevada?
But it is possible the family never relayed the messages to the cops and if they didn't give the cops this info, then they are just as guilty as the thug who killed the girl.
Further, the thug has a long criminal history, so why did the family allow him to stay with them?
To me, it is clear that the family- mom and boyfriend, are least partially responsible for the poor little girl's death.
Finally, kudos to Wal-Mart and their security team for catching the guy shoplifting and calling the cops.  This case may not have been quickly solved if not for the employees at Wal-Mart.

How Johnson's suspected parole violation morphed into a Wednesday niTght shooting, a slain police officer, a wounded bystander and wounded suspect is still partly unclear. But Rochester Police Chief Michael Ciminelli said at a news conference late Thursday afternoon that the tragic incident began Wednesday close to 9:20 p.m. when two officers stopped a vehicle.
Initially, there were two people in the car, but police found only one when they stopped the vehicle. Pierson and his partner, Officer Michael DiPaola, 41, came as back-up and searched for the second man.
Ciminelli did not release the cause of the stop.
Around 9:25 p.m. the two officers spotted a man matching the description of the individual they were looking for. Pierson chased him on foot; DiPaola in the police car.
 At Hudson Avenue and Agnes Street, Pierson caught Johnson, who allegedly shot the officer with a .25-caliber handgun.The serial number on the handgun, which has been recovered, was defaced.

But what is funny is that 2 people are trying to get credit for getting the plant to Nevada: a brothel owner and Slutty/Senile/Liar/Coward/ Harry Reid.

To some, he is a major player when it comes to economic development in Nevada, a state that is still clawing its way out of a recession. To others, Gilman is also seen as a flesh peddler — he's owner of the famous Mustang Ranch brothel, legally operated in Storey County just east of Reno.
Gilman is the principal and director of the Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center, billed as the largest industrial park in the world. As Storey County Manager Pat Whitten put it, Gilman is "the lead economic engine for Northern Nevada."
Besides Tesla, he's lured major companies to his park, which has become a cash cow of tiny Storey County. The park is located just outside the county limits of the Reno-Sparks metropolitan area and includes companies such as Kal-Kan, Wal-Mart, Dell Computers and Toys R Us. The industrial park is next to coast-to-coast interstate highway and rail systems, so it sells itself. Yet Gilman closes the deals.
He is also an integral part of the negotiations to bring Tesla Motors' $5 billion gigifactory project to the industrial park he represents.
Meanwhile, Gilman got into the brothel business about a decade ago with his Wild Horse Canyon Ranch brothel. Reid went on to note that Tesla CEO Elon Musk was the keynote speaker at the summit in 2012, when he spoke about “the importance of innovation and investment in clean energy.”
“Now he is putting his words into action by announcing this critical investment in Nevada,” Reid said.
Reid spokeswoman Kristen Orthman said the Senate Majority Leader played a role behind the scenes to bring Tesla together with state officials.

From ESPN: The NCAA has determined that UConn women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma committed a secondary rules violation when he made a phone call congratulating Little League pitching star Mo'ne Davis last month, the school announced Thursday.
Athletic director Warde Manuel said the school accepts the decision but does not agree with it.
Auriemma told reporters Wednesday that he talked to the 13-year-old Philadelphia girl at Little League headquarters during the Little League World Series after a friend of his in the Philadelphia 76ers organization suggested it.
Davis, who is also a standout basketball player, was the 18th girl to play in the event and the only one to win a game on the mound. She told reporters during the World Series that her dream was to play point guard for the nine-time national champion Huskies. Her Taney Dragons team reached the Little League semifinals.
Manuel said Auriemma checked with the school's compliance department before getting on the phone and was told the 13-year-old would not be considered a prospective student athlete and the call was permissible.
"The nature of coach Auriemma's two-minute conversation with Mo'ne had nothing to do with recruiting and instead had everything to do with congratulating and encouraging Mo'ne to continued success," Manuel said.

Seventeen fake cellphone towers were discovered across the U.S. last week, according to a report in Popular Science.
Rather than offering you cellphone service, the towers appear to be connecting to nearby phones, bypassing their encryption, and either tapping calls or reading texts. 
Les Goldsmith, the CEO of ESD America, used ESD's CryptoPhone 500 to detect 17 bogus cellphone towers. ESD is a leading American defense and law enforcement technology provider based in Las Vegas. 
With most phones, these fake communication towers are undetectable. But not for the CryptoPhone 500, a customized Android device that is disguised as a Samsung Galaxy S III but has highly advanced encryption.
Goldsmith told Popular Science: "Interceptor use in the U.S. is much higher than people had anticipated. One of our customers took a road trip from Florida to North Carolina and he found eight different interceptors on that trip. We even found one at South Point Casino in Las Vegas.”
The towers were found in July, but the report implied that there may have been more out there.

From the LVRJ: Bullhead City police on Wednesday announced that a body had been found near the residence where 8-year-old Isabella Grogan-Cannella went missing early Tuesday morning.
A tracking unit discovered the body about noon in the area of Chaparral and Newberry drives. The location is about a mile from the residence in the 24oo block of Lakeside Drive where the girl was discovered missing, Bullhead City Police Chief Brian Williamson said.
The body has not yet been identified, Williamson said.
Bullhead City spokeswoman Emily Fromelt said that law enforcement agencies are working on multiple leads and are seeking persons of interest.
Isabella was put to bed late Monday night and was discovered to be missing about 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Ethan Lyon, who is close the family, sat on a curb near the area where the body was found on Wednesday. He smoked a cigarette and drank from a plastic cup, his hands shaking so badly that water sloshed onto his turquoise Vans shoes.
“It’s Isabella. It has to be,” he said of the body that was found.
The distraught man had been questioned by police, along with Isabella’s family. The mother’s boyfriend had apparently gone to the store the night she disappeared, according to sources. That left the girl with a grandmother and a family friend, said Lyon.
“I don’t see how you could look into her eyes, look at her smile and hurt her,” Lyon said.
The residents of the home include Isabella’s mother and other children who are not Isabella’s siblings, said police Lt. Jerry Duke. He added that Isabella’s biological father is not in the area.

This is very sad, but there are questions that need to be answered.
1.  How come the cops didn't find the girl yesterday, since the body was found only a mile away?
2.  How come the dogs didn't pick up the scent yesterday?

I'm thinking that if this was a murder, it was done by a family member or someone familiar with the family.

Central New York’s Fayetteville-Manlius and Baldwinsville school districts are the latest to ditch the National School Lunch Program, which was revamped in 2010 under the guidance of First Lady Michelle Obama in an effort to fight childhood obesity.
Strict limits on calories, fat, sugar, carbohydrates, sodium and other aspects of the school lunch imposed by the federal government on schools participating in the free and reduced lunch program has not only increased cafeteria costs, they’ve resulted in a drastic drop in the number of participating students.
At Fayetteville-Manlius, Baldwinsville, and thousands of other districts the new regulations resulted in a sharp downturn in students who eat school lunch and a sharp increase in food waste. The lost sales are threatening the viability of cafeteria programs in schools across the country, prompting many to do without federal subsidies to serve students food they’ll actually buy and eat.
“Grilled cheese and tomato soup was a very popular lunch,” Baldwinsville Superintendent David Hamilton told WRVO public media. “We couldn’t offer that under the new guidelines of the federal government. Spaghetti and meatballs, we couldn’t offer that either.”
As a result of last year’s school lunch menu high school lunch sales in Baldwinsville plummeted from about 600 to 430 students per day.
“We all want a lower carb diet. But it’s hard to sell a sub on something that looks more like a piece of paper than a sub roll,” Hamilton said. “I understand the shift but now the students aren’t opting to eat any of that. They’re stepping away entirely.”
Fayetteville-Manlius schools are experiencing the same phenomenon, and took a survey of students before deciding to trash the federal lunch regulations. The survey’s common theme: portion sizes are too small and the food just doesn’t taste that great, WRVO reports.
That district’s new cafeteria plan “will look more like a food court, with more grab and go items along with a deli bar and a hot meal item,” according to the news site.
The School Nutrition Association conducted a survey at the group’s annual conference recently that showed roughly 25 percent of school lunch programs have lost money for more than six months because of the federally inspired bland school food options, the Detroit News reports.
“The association says that according to statistics from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, student lunch participation is down in 49 states under the new standards, with more than 1 million fewer students choosing school lunch each day,” according to the News.
A recent Government Accountability Institute report estimates the total amount of wasted school lunches has also reached about $1 billion per year, according to Fox.

And that doesn't include those who throw away the crap they are serving, so those kids are being under fed.
There was nothing wrong with the old method of feeding kids, but you had a bunch of nanny liberals who think they know better than everyone else, and imposed their values on all the school children.

Three men were killed and at least 35 other people have been wounded in shootings across the city over Labor Day weekend.
The most recent fatal shooting happened Sunday night in Rogers Park.
Two men, both 29, were shot about 8:45 p.m. in the 7400 block of North Ridge, police said.
One was shot in the abdomen and the leg, police said. He was taken to Saint Francis Hospital, where he later died, according to police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office. His name was not released Monday morning.
The other man was shot in the right leg and taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where his condition had stabilized, police said.
Another man died Saturday morning, about five hours after he was shot and critically wounded on the Far South Side.

Chicago, Obama's hometown, where he still owns a house that is guarded 24/7 by the Secret Service is out of control.

Police Shoot Another Unarmed Man

So, when will the racist brothers, Barack, Eric, Jesse and Al demand justice for the unarmed man who was shot by cops today in Oklahoma?
From the Tulsa World: A man is dead after being shot by a Creek Nation Lighthorse police officer on Interstate 40 Monday morning, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation confirmed.
Creek Nation Lighthorse and Henryetta police officers received several calls around 7 a.m. Monday about a red Dodge pickup that was going west in I-40’s eastbound lanes, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.
“The Lighthorse officer spotted it first and began a pursuit, and the Henryetta officers joined in,” she said. “The officers numerous times tried to stop the vehicle, and the driver would not stop or pull over.”
Brown said that after pursuing the truck for several miles, a Lighthorse officer fired at the pickup, causing it to eventually crash “at a low speed” at I-40 mile marker 237, which is at the west edge of Henryetta.
“The male driver was hit with a round from the Lighthorse officer’s gun,” she said. “The driver and a female passenger were taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.”
The woman was released from the Henryetta hospital later Monday, Brown said.

The cops did a good job by shooting this thug.  He was driving a big truck that if they crashed head on with another car, it would leave to a horrible and possibly deadly outcome.

Cops Arrest Another Firefighter At Crash Scene

A Louisiana firefighter was cuffed, taken from a crash scene and cited for disobeying a sheriff’s deputy order to move a fire engine at a crash scene.
According to The Town Talk, a local newspaper published in Alexandria, La., the incident occurred in Winn Parish and involved a Winnfield firefighter and a Winn Parish Sheriff’s Deputy.
According to the newspaper, Firefighter Jonathan Johnson was taken from the scene of the two-vehicle crash for blocking traffic with the engine, something Winn Fire Chief James Keith is standard practice.
The wreck occurred in a turning lane of a four-lane road and the engine was reportedly parked for scene safety, according to the newspaper. Firefighter Johnson then assisted a paramedic on the scene with assessing patients for injuries.
Deputy Ralph Henson asked Johnson to move the engine, as he had asked the operator of a rescue truck and the ambulance and Johnson, reportedly did not immediately comply. Deputy Henson then called Deputy Kelly Fannin for backup.
According to a local television station KTVE, Firefighter Johnson had cleared the scene and was followed back to the fire station. As he backed the truck into the station, he was ordered out of the engine. He was physically removed from the engine, handcuffed and transported to the courthouse. He was shackled to a bench by his leg and held two hours. He was then given a citation for disobeying a police officer.
Sheriff Jordan said the accident was minor with no injuries and it did not require a fire engine, the newspaper reported. The ambulance and rescue truck operators complied with the deputies orders to move.
The Sheriff said the fire engine operator has an obligation to obey the sheriff’s order and the whole incident could have been avoided if he had just complied.
"Order had to be maintained," Jordan told The Town Talk. "Everyone has to obey the law.”
Johnson said he was just keeping the scene safe.
"It was embarrassing, humiliating," Johnson told the television station. "It was bad."
Fire Chief Keith said his department is upset by the whole incident.
"It's kind of disheartening to have to go through this," Keith said. "As an emergency organization we're hear to help people. There are firefighters killed every year at accident scenes when cars or trucks run them over because the firefighters weren't being protected and the drive r of the vehicle wasn't paying to attention., so the cops need to back off.
Further, the way the firefighter was arrested was disgraceful.  Instead of trying to work out the differences, the cops went hands on.
Finally, the quotes from the Sheriff just wreaks of arrogance.
I am usually a strong supporter of cops, but in this case they were wrong in every aspect of the case.

Oh Boy, Here Comes Another Black Shooting By Cops

Here comes another case of cops shooting a totally innocent black man, this time in Ohio, by Cincinnati.  And a bunch of black people of course are crying racism.
From the Cincinnati.com: The head of the Ohio Legislative Black Caucus is pressing Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine to release a surveillance video that shows the shooting by police of a Fairfield man at a Walmart.
State Rep. Alecia Reece, Reece, a Bond Hill Democrat and president of the caucus, said the tape would provide answers in the controversial shooting of John Crawford III, 21.
Crawford, who was black, was fatally shot on Aug. 5 at a Wal-Mart in the Dayton suburb of Beavercreek. The two officers involved are white.

So, a guy is holding a gun, refuses to put it down when told to do so, the thug is a threat to the cops and he gets shot because the cops want to go home to their families after their shift instead of being shot and killed by the thug.
The cops probably didn't know if the air gun was a real gun or not and the cops were probably lazy when they didn't go up and ask him if the gun was real or a fake.
And of course, the most incompetent and racist, Eric Holder and the DOJ are going to be investigating the case.
Here is a very simple way for cops to stop shooting black people....
Don't break the fricking law and chances are you are not going to be shot.

With just the click of some buttons, a 12-foot-tall castle has appeared in a quiet Minnesota back yard — proof of the very latest in technology.

Andrey Rudenko built the castle layer by layer with one of the first 3-D concrete printers in the world, an ambitious task given that most things produced by 3-D printers are much smaller, like plastic models or parts. Now the Shorewood engineer and contractor has an even larger goal: use his 3-D printer to build the first-of-its-kind concrete house.

“Every time, it’s getting bigger and more complicated,” he said of his creations. “It’s just magic for me.”

3-D printing has emerged in recent years, bringing the futuristic concepts to reality with everything from luxury cars to toy puzzles to the latest fashion. Researchers are even working to perfect printing human body parts.

And the Twin Cities is on the cutting edge of it.

Eden Prairie company Stratasys makes 3-D printers for everything from consumer toys to prosthetic arms and wax-ups for dentures. Maple Plain-based Proto Labs started selling 3-D printed plastic and metal parts, mostly to engineers, this year.

But in the Lake Minnetonka suburb of Shorewood, Rudenko is forging his own path in technology that’s so new there are few guides or tutorials to follow. With a background in engineering and design, the building contractor started experimenting with 3-D printing two decades ago.
