It's Going To Rain A Lot In The Next Few Days Or...

From the LVRJ: A rare three-day flash flood watch has been issued for Southern Nevada starting Sunday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
The flash flood watch will be in effect from 10 a.m. Sunday to 5 a.m.Tuesday, affecting Clark County, southern Nye County, the Spring Mountains and Red Rock Canyon.
The forecast calls for thunderstorms after 11 a.m Sunday, with temperatures as high as 96 degrees and a light south breeze up to 10 mph.
The thunderstorms are coming from Hurricane Norbert, which damaged more than 1,000 homes and forced hundreds of people to seek higher ground off the coast of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. The hurricane weakened to a Category 1 storm Saturday night.
There’s a 60 percent chance for rain Sunday night, increasing to a 70 percent chance of heavy rain by Monday. Monday’s highs will stay in the low 90s with a light breeze, dropping to a low of 80 degrees by nightfall, the weather service said.
The chance of rain will lessen on Tuesday with a high temperature of 91. The valley’s skies are expected to be sunny and clear the rest of the week starting Wednesdayhttp://www.reviewjournal.com/news/las-vegas/norbert-brings-3-day-flash-flood-watch-vegas
So, either will get a lot of rain or none.
The weather forecasters in Las Vegas are about the worst in the nation.  So many times, they have predicted rain and didn't get any.
And many more times, they have predicted no rain and we get flash floods.
So, in the next few days, it may be ark building season.
Or
It will be a beautiful sunny day.
My guess: For most people, it will be a bit cloudy with little or no rain.
