This Story Is Just Scary

From the Appleton Post Crescent: Christopher Nelson, the suspended New Holstein School District administrator, was charged Thursday with five counts of possession of child pornography for images found on a flash drive in his district office.
Nelson, 58, of 1507 Mason St. in New Holstein, was arrested Jan. 19 in Milwaukee after arranging a sexual rendezvous with who he thought was a 15-year-old boy. The “boy” — actually a Milwaukee police officer — had been chatting with Nelson since Nelson responded to a Craigslist ad in June.The child pornography charges, filed in Calumet County Court, carry a presumptive minimum sentence of three years in prison and a combined maximum of 75 years. Nelson is scheduled to make an initial appearance on the charges Feb. 21; for now he remains jailed in Milwaukee in lieu of a $20,000 cash bond. Nelson is charged in Milwaukee County Court with using a computer to facilitate a child sex crime, a felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison. Not only was this guy busted for trying to have sex with a minor. One time thing? Umm, no.
This pervert was fired or forcibly resign from the Madison WI. school district 5 years earlier because he had 5000 porno pictures on his school computer. From the above article:
Nelson was also investigated by the DPI in 2005 after Madison school officials reported the pornography matter, Gasper said. The DPI found no cause to revoke Nelson’s license at the time, and Gasper said the basis for that decision is part of a file that was destroyed after three years, per DPI policy.
This guy was hidden in the educational bureaucracy for years and it is very fortunate that this guy did not have sex with the fake boy in Milwaukee. But one wonders if he was ever successful in having sex with an underage boy before he was arrested. I guess the educational bureaucracy
didn't care about that.
