There is a new TV series on Tru TV, from the producers of COPs called Las Vegas Strip. The show follows a bunch of police from Metro as they work the Strip looking for crimes.
I have been to the Strip many times and I have never, ever seen a cop walking a beat. Not once in 5 years. Now granted, I was never down on the Strip on New Years, but have been down on other days like Halloween and I have been there at night. Still never saw a cop and the same can be said of Fremont Street.
I guess a TV show can bring out the cops, I guess.
