There's A Storm Brewing In The Gulf

Soon to be Hurricane Isaac is brewing in the Gulf of Mexico and no one knows where it will strike land and how hard.  However, the following things are sure to happen:
1.  There will be hurricane parties.
2.  Members of the media will report outside in the rain.
3.  Those same media will exaggerate how bad the storm really is.  They will report on the flooding while people are walking by the cameras in ankle deep water.
4.  There will be mandatory evacuations and massive traffic jams and it will turn out most of those people evacuating will have done so for no reason.
5.  there will be hurricane parties.
6.  In mandatory evacuation areas, some people will refuse to leave but will call 911 when their house floods and their roof is torn off.
7.  There will be wall to wall media coverage of the hurricane for the next 10 days.
8.  The media will exaggerate how much damage there was in the storm by showing 1 roof or tree damaged while everything else in the area is still standing.
9.  Most liberals will blame global warming for causing the hurricane, ignoring the fact that there have not been that many hurricanes in the U.S. for the past several years and a lot less than predicted.
10.  and there will be more hurricane parties.
If the storm lands as a category 2 hurricane, there will little wind damage but there will be some flooding damage.
However, the most damage or the most positive, depending on your point of view, is that the storm will hit during the GOP convention.  Instead of hearing a bunch of hot air from politicians, we will be hearing and seeing a bunch of hot air from the storm and the media.
