From the Houston Chronicle: A Lubbock County, Texas, judge is asking for a tax increase to hire
deputies for the inevitable civil war he believes would follow President
Obama's re-election.
The way he puts it, Judge Tom Head wants to prepare for the "worst", which to him means "civil unrest, civil disobedience" and possible "civil war", according to a report from Fox 34 Lubbock
Judge Tom Head and Commissioner Mark Heinrich
told the station this week that a 1.7 cent tax increase for the next
fiscal year was necessary to prepare for many contingencies, including
Obama's re-election. He also mentioned to the station that the county
needs a pay increase is needed for the district attorney's office and
more funds to pay for more sheriff's office deputies.
"He's going to try to hand over the sovereignty of the United States
to the (United Nations), and what is going to happen when that
happens?," Head asked the station during a Monday interview. "I'm
thinking the worst. Civil unrest, civil disobedience, civil war maybe.
And we're not just talking a few riots here and demonstrations, we're
talking Lexington, Concord, take up arms and get rid of the guy."
Head also seems to fear the retaliation of such civil unrest.
"Now what's going to happen if we do that, if the public decides to do that? He's going to send in U.N.
troops. I don't want 'em in Lubbock County. OK. So I'm going to stand
in front of their armored personnel carrier and say 'you're not coming
in here'. http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas/article/Texas-official-warns-of-Obama-civil-war-3807672.php
So, is this some uneducated nut who thinks that there may be a civil war if Obama wins? No, the man is educated and he has his thought out opinions.
Can he be right?
I think it is possible, especially if there is wide spread voter fraud involved and if most conservatives think the election was stolen. If that happens, I can see where there are protests and possible violence, especially if Obama illegally sends in Federal troops to quell any protests.
I also see a situation where if Romney wins and there is allegations of a stolen election- I can see where there will be civil unrest liberal extremists. Why do I think that? First, the Occupy movement, where many Occupy cities engaged in violence of some sort. This happened in New York City, Oakland and Berkley CA and other places. There were riots and some protesters decided to hurt police officers on purpose.
In addition, in Wisconsin, when Scott Walker and the conservatives won, the liberals of the state went nuts. The liberals went bat shit crazy with their protests, death threats and some violence. So, yes, if Obama loses in a contested election, especially if goes to the Supreme Court and Romney wins in court on a 5-4 decision, I will predict violence by many members of the left.
If Romney loses in the same situation, I don't see a bunch of riots but there may be violence in other ways. It will be more individual violence and I also see the government acting in a way like in Ruby Ridge or at Waco.
So, I don't see the judge being overly nuts and I certainly hope he is wrong, but face the facts, we are a very divided nation and there is a lot of people to blame including the politicians, the media, bloggers like myself and others. When we see the Las Vegas Sun hoping that people will die in a hurricane in Florida because of political reasons, then things are nuts.
In the end, will we see the U.N. bringing in troops to the U.S.no, I don't thinks so but I do believe Obama wants the U.N. to control us more, but will we see violence if there is a close and controversial election, yeah I can see that.

Here's to hoping for a civil war... and here's to hoping to the public executions of certain candidates.
