Why Axctresses and Actors Should Not Talk About Politics

There some actress named Natalie Portman, someone who I would not know even if I met her on the street, is in Las Vegas campaigning for President Obama.
Of course, using the few brain cells she probably has, she repeated the Democrat talking points, just like reading a scipt and then came up with this goodie:
She noted the two Republicans don't want to fund Planned Parenthood, for example, and she criticized Romney and Ryan for wanting to erode "our right to choose," referring to abortion.
"We would go back to the days where being pregnant is a pre-existing condition," she said. http://www.lvrj.com/news/actress-natalie-portman-backs-obama-appeals-to-women-voters-167450095.html
Note to Ms. Portman: Why should taxpayers fund a private organization?  Where in the constitution does it say we have to fund Planned Parenthood.
And Republicans treat pregnancy as a pre-existing condition?  Umm, Ms. Portman, it is Republicans who support pregnancy and hope women will give birth to the baby while Obama says that a baby can be killed after it is born.
So, Ms. Portman, stick to scripts and looking beautiful and stay out subjects that you have no clue about.  You may run out of brain cells.

  1. Dan, both parties love to fund private organizations. You whine about Planned Parenthood, but say nothing about charter schools, the defense industry, Big Oil, Big Pharma, and all sorts of other beneficiaries of corporate welfare.

You're also twice the hypocrite when whining about entertainers opining about politics.

  2. You're right about some big businesses from the right get government funds and you know what, there is no constitutional right for them to get money. And most of the areas you mentioned have to undergo competitive bidding. Does Planned Parenthood?
And capper, I mentioned actors and actresses, not singers. But I will say this, it is much harder to be a conservative in the entertainment industry. You actually have to think about the issues rather than parrot what is fed to you by the left.

    1. Trust me, Dan, one has to think to try to decipher what you're trying to say, what with your atrocious spelling and grammar.

So let me get this straight, singers can express their opinions, but actors and actresses can't? Then I expect you support the Dixie Chicks, Rage Against The Machine, and Twisted Sister, right?

  3. Why is she talking at all? As far as I know she is not an American citizen. She is from Israel. I no longer go to any movies that have these people in them. They have a right to say anything they want but not on my dime.
