Sad Night In Tacoma WA

The war on cops continues.
From the Tacoma News Tribune: A Tacoma police officer was fatally shot Wednesday while responding to a domestic violence call on the city’s East Side, sparking an hourslong standoff with a volley of gunfire.
The officer was not immediately identified.
He was taken to Tacoma General Hospital after the shooting and underwent surgery. His death was announced at 9:13 p.m. A procession was being planned to transport the officer’s body to the Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office.
“We’ve suffered a great loss and I think the community has suffered a great loss. And I don’t know how to put that into words other than to say that everyone here appreciates the kind thoughts and the prayers that are going out to us,” police spokeswoman Loretta Cool.
RIP to the officer and prayers to their family, friends and department.
Update: the cops have not arrested the thug who killed the officer.  It appears the thug is a black individual.
