Harry Reid Throws Temper Tantrum

Harry Reid got on his bully pulpit, the Senate floor, and cried very big crocodile tears today.

"The Republicans in the Senate have made the decision to do everything they can to turn the country upside down, to do everything they can to stop economic recovery because they think it may help some of their people running for the Senate around the country.
"They figure as bad as they can make the economy, the better off they will be," Reid said. "That is a pretty difficult view for people who are United States senators."
"As we learned from the health care debate, (Republicans) want everything that Obama wants to be his Waterloo."

First, soon to be Mr. Former Senator Reid, the country's economy is in the tank in large part of what the Democrats have done. More regulations, threatening to tax everything in sight, false promises, scandal, bullying etc.

Most people want the president to succeed but the president is doing everything in his power not to have this country succeed. Spending the country into oblivion with trillion dollar deficits is not a sane thing to do. Obama care is proving itself to a fraud. It will not save money but will increase health care spending by the Feds. The oil disaster, something that Obama who had the power to minimize the disaster, has been a failure because of the government's red tape. The fiasco in Afghanistan is demoralizing the troops and many of the people at home. All of this, while the president plays and parties around the country. When the GOP offered to extend unemployment benefits, the Democrats shot it down. Who's playing politics now?

But in a post I wrote yesterday, it's not only the GOP senators who have dim views of what is happening in America, the majority of people don't like what the Dem's are doing.

So, Soon To be Former Senator Reid, stop playing politics and get off of your high horse. If you want cooperation with the GOP, you don't have to do much. After all, there are a bunch of RINO's in the Senate. If you can't even turn Olympia Snowe or Susan Collins, then you know you are too extreme.
