Why Doesn't Obama Consult Past Presidents?

Clearly, Obama is in over his head with the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. He is not even acting presidential. Why doesn't Obama consult past presidents regarding this disaster? Who would know more about oil than President Bush 43? Who would know more about getting out of trouble than Bill Clinton? Who would know more about acting like a moderate than the elder Bush? Who knows more about being the worst president than Jimmy Carter and avoiding Carter's downfalls?
Obama likes to consult people in academia, people who don't know what the real world is like. So, why doesn't he consult people who have been in extremely stressful situations as president, the very few number of people who know what it is like to be the POTUS. But Obama is a narcissist and he believes he knows everything better than everyone else.
