And the fact is a President and politicians cannot create jobs unless they are government jobs and then they have to pay for those jobs. When you are ten's of trillions in debt, that is not going to happen.
But a politician can kill jobs quite easily. Just look at how many jobs Cry Baby Harry Reid has personally killed in Nevada. He has killed Yucca Mountain and the storing of nuclear fuel there and that cost upwards to 7500 to 10,000 jobs. He killed two power plants in Northern Nevada that killed thousands of construction jobs and permanent jobs at the plants all because they were coal fired plants. Thanks Crybaby Harry.
Harry Reid, by himself, has not created one job in Nevada, except for staffing of his office, his security detail and maybe private servants and maids. But yet he has put thousands of people out of work by his influence.
So, President Obama can say all he wants about creating jobs. He can't do it. The GOP presidential candidates cannot do it and neither can Congress. What they can do is to make conditions right for businesses to hire people and the politicians are not doing that. Obama and his government people are not doing that. They are increasing regulations, harass companies like Gibson guitars and Starbucks (remember the case of the EEOC suing Starbucks because they fired a little person because of safety concerns and other stupid cases?) and they constantly threaten to raise taxes.
The GOP is not much better. They are trying to get a balanced budget amendment passed and that is just plain stupid. First, it won't happen and they don't account for severe emergencies. And why do we need an amendment to balance the budget. just balance the darn thing on your own.
The politicians should just shut up, do very little except make conditions right for hiring and let the private sector take over.
The Fed's can also help create jobs funding some needed, not make work- projects. Help with transportation projects like a freeway from Las Vegas to Phoenix, fix some infrastructure that actually needs fixing and other projects that need fixing. Repaving I-15 in Las Vegas over and over and over is not going to help.
They should decrease the time to get permits for construction and get the patent office moving efficiently and be properly funded.
And Green energy is just not going to do anything to help the economy, but the liberals don't seem to get that message and that is another reason why Obama, Reid and Pelosi's plans will fail. It is not the time to put most or all your eggs in the Green Energy basket at this time. We need to drill more oil, build oil refineries(especially in Nevada where we have so much government land, and if we need a lot of water, build a pipeline from the Pacific Ocean instead of stealing it from Northern Nevada)
So, in the end, the President will prattle on along with the GOP candidates about creating jobs and in the end, the politicians from both the Dems and GOP along with presidential appointed department heads and czars and the entrenched federal government bureaucrats will keep screwing things up and make a bad situation worse.
