This May Be A First: Tream Caught Cheating In Great Food Truck Race

Tonight, I was watching The Great Food Truck Race on the Food Network and a team was disqualified for cheating.
The Korean BBQ team, Korilla BBQ truck, was disqualified for putting their own money into the till, inflating their profits.
they were sent home in disgrace and they did not deny they had cheated.
I cannot recall another reality show in which a person or team was thrown off the show for cheating.
And the stupid thing is that they didn't have to cheat as they made enough money to make it through the next round.
And the team never apologized either.
How classless are the Koreans to cheat on national TV? And how stupid they must be if they thought they could not get caught.
Pathetic.

  1. Yep, your wise comment and the judging of a whole nationality based upon a small group of people is both VERY intelligent and totally understandable. :) I am in awe of your staggering intellect and wisdom. Truly! I am glad that you know that TV is all that is important in life. Bravo Sir, bravo!

  2. To be fair, Anon, they just said "The Koreans" which is correct as the Korilla truck is ran by.. koreans. I doubt that they meant *EVERY* Korean.. just those who ran that truck. Let's take it down a notch, ok?

And I do agree that they were so egotistical to think that they could get away with what they did. Kind of ironic given how at the beginning of the show Tyler made the comment about how they thought themselves as smarter then everyone else in the race. Yet they do a rather boneheadded move to try and cheat. *facepalms*

What floored me was how they were caught saying "he made us look like fools" (sic) when it was they who were successful in making themselves look as such. However, my hubby tried to explain that in Asian cultures it is apparently bad form to call out someone (especially if they are above you in the office ladder) for their stupid move. That is was taboo to make them look foolish. (he knows this because his company has to deal with the asian market.. and his boss made that "mistake" once...)

However, cultural differences aside, it is still mindboggling that they thought they could get away with cheating like that. Like the people counting the money wouldn't have caught it. Oy...
