He also said the recall is a waste of money, given that his term is scheduled to end little more than a year after the pending recall, meaning voters will have a chance then to weigh in on his performance.
"We're going to go to a special election, we are going to actually spend and waste probably about $50,000 of taxpayer resources on a special election when I am up for re-election next year anyway,", adding he felt the recall was a "personal vendetta".
He also accused signature gatherers of using repeat visits and phone calls to voters to pressure them into signing the petition for a recall. (modified a little)

It's a very liberal city council member from Las Vegas, who by the way, is or was a high level union administrator for a local union and his name is Steve Ross.
I wonder if he now feels that the recall of Scott Walker is justified. Somehow, I don't think he is not smart enough to understand the irony of the situation.
