No, not here in Las Vegas, but in Colorado.
From the Denver Post: A dusting of snow in the mountains early
Monday morning was greeted with enthusiasm by ski operators, who posted
video and photos on the Internet.
Snow acknowledgments were
passed along by Colorado Ski Country USA, Loveland Ski Area, Arapahoe
Basin, Winter Park Resort and Copper Mountain, among other ski areas
and resorts.
The sight of snow in the High Country sparked "likes" on Facebook, but the joy may be short -lived.
"It
was pretty much about 11,000 feet (elevation) and above," said Jim
Kalina, a meteorologist and spokesman with the National Weather Service
in Boulder. "It was pretty much a dusting."
Some high peaks
received as much as one inch of snow, Kalina said, but the weather band
was on the move Monday and precipitation was moving out with it.
"After Monday night, it will be dry for the next several days," Kalina said. "It's a start, I guess."
