Coincidence?

In the same week that the BLM gestapo wants to take more wild horses and burros out of Southern Nevada, that the FDA decides to allow a company to slaughter horses.  Coincidence?
From the Pahrump Valley Times: Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service officials sought public comment on major reductions planned for wild horse and burro herds in the Spring Mountains and Johnnie region of Southern Nevada.
The agencies say they could begin roundups as early as next fall as part of a 10-year management plan that is being considered.
More than a dozen area residents turned out for the public meeting at the Bob Ruud Community Center on Tuesday.
The consensus among the attendees was for the most part negative.
Local resident Janice Brown said the plan was simply a bad idea.
She noted that money and no genuine concern for the animals’ welfare was the agencies’ motivation.
“How can you break families apart and justify the non-freedom of these beautiful animals at a profit? The roundups cost the lives of the foals, mares, the babies, and the breaking up of families. It is time to stop. The damage to these horses is enormous. The wild horses have a right and they cannot speak for themselves. Keep the wild horses wild,” she said.
Pahrump resident Frank Incopero was equally adamant about letting the horse and burro population be as they are.
“I have a difficult time believing that any of you really believe what you are talking about, that you think you are doing the right thing. You are not and I think you know it; you are paid to do this and I do understand that it is your job. These horses have been here for thousands of years. They are not sorry. They got water until you cordon off their water. You are taking horses and donkeys away from people that love them. You are making sure that our grandchildren won’t ever get to see these animals and that is your fault. In closing, I have one thing to say: You better hope God isn’t a horse,” he said.  http://pvtimes.com/news/federal-officials-unveil-wild-horse-burro-plan/
And
A New Mexico meat plant received federal approval on Friday to slaughter horses for meat, a move that drew immediate opposition from animal rights group and will likely be opposed by the White House.
The U.S. Agriculture Department said it was required by law to issue a "grant of inspection" to Valley Meat Co, Roswell, New Mexico, because it had met all federal requirements. Now, the USDA is obliged to assign meat inspectors to the plant.
The USDA also said it may soon issue similar grants for plants in Missouri and Iowa.
Horse meat cannot be sold as food in the United States, but it can be exported. Attempts to reach Valley Meat Co via a number listed online were unsuccessful.
Valley Meat would be the first meat plant to be allowed to slaughter horses since Congress banned it in 2006. http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/06/29/us-usa-agriculture-horse-idUSBRE95S00820130629
For some reason the Gestapo over at the BLM just love killing wild horses, burros and other wild animals and they want to continue their killing ways and now they have a place to send the horses.
