How Sad

From the Nellis Air Force Base news: The North Nellis Coalition is working towards making the area around the base safer for Airmen to shop and live.
The North Nellis Coalition is an a group made up of members from the 99th Security Forces Squadron , the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and dozens of businesses surrounding Nellis AFB.
"Right now Airmen are driving 10 to 15 minutes away from base to live and shop because they don't feel safe outside the gate," said Brady Warren, 99th SFS criminal intelligence analyst. "The reason for that is because right outside of the gate has one of the highest crime rates in this whole city."

It's sad that the base is next door to a ghetto area (I used to live right across from the Base and know it is just plain ghetto)
But Nellis doesn't help it's self when Nellis keeps their property all trashy, like this:

Maybe if Nellis cleaned up their property, maybe the neighborhood might follow suit and maybe, just maybe, it will become just a little bit less ghetto.
